What a lovely beach - the sand is soft and perfect, water is a wonderful color and temperature. There aren’t many vendors, and the ones that are there are funny and not terribly annoying. Service is fairly good, with mostly one gal coming by and asking for drink orders. Free chairs available, maybe half with a shade attached. Lifeguards every 50 yards or so, waves are not crazy large, saw a few stingrays and barracudas out in the water too which was pleasant!
They do close the beach anytime there’s dark clouds or lightning - as we found out our first two days when they closed it back...

   Read moreSuch a beautiful beach!! The water ia so clear you can see your feet and any fish around you. The bottom is very soft sand nothing sharp. The beach gets pretty deep not far from shore. People were snorkeling. Jet skis werent a problem because the have a roped off swimming area. We felt very safe.
