Only ok. Not great if you have any eating or food restrictions you need to consider. We were told about this place from some other visitors to the city, as the idea of finding an inexpensive supper was appealing after a full day of expensive tourist-ing. When we arrived we were able to sit on the patio which was lovely. We had a look at the menu, as I am limited in what I am able to eat as I am 3 months post op from a surgery that effects the kinds and quantities of food I can eat in a sitting. I was able to find one thing - a salad - that was suitable on the menu. I ordered it with the plan to take what I didn't finish home (as I can only eat small amounts at a time). There was nothing on the menu to indicate that this would be an issue, however when we asked for a takeout container at the end of the meal, we were told that they don't allow that anymore. I was only able to eat about 1/3 of my salad, and had to leave the rest there. The good news is that it wasn't crazy expensive ($6.95 + around $3 for added chicken). It was just disappointing that I couldn't bring the rest of my paid-for food with me for later. My husband was upset on my behalf, as he knows how difficult it can be for me to find things when we go out. His burger was good (especially for the price), and would have likely become a regular customer, while he's working in town, but he was put off on how there was an issue in bringing home food that was paid for. If this was a buffet, or all-you-can-eat place, of course having a take out container for leftovers isn't an option. They also make that clear when you eat at those types of places. But when you fully pay for a single meal, including the extra for add-ons, you should be able to take it home with you, or at the VERY least, make it clear (on the menu, posted somewhere in the restaurant, etc.) that take out containers are...

Awful service. For the majority of the night we wouldn’t see our waitress for over 20 minutes at a time. After being there for only a short period and having a table of 11 people, they took our only 3 menus that we were given because they had run out of menus for other people even though the place was not full. When we ordered a drink it did not come for over 30 minutes, and I had to go up to the bar and ask why it had not been made even though the bar tenders were just sitting around. They said that they only had a couple of glasses for that specific drink and had run out and I had to wait for one of the glasses to become available to me again. But with no sight of the waitress, no one told us the entire time we were sitting there. When I finally tracked down the waitress to get my bill so I could leave, she not only charged me full price for everything and expected a tip (since there was no option to not tip on their machines) but she also made everyone else pay their bills because ā€œwe were a large table and they needed to free up roomā€. Honestly, this is some of the worst service I have had. Even though the prices are cheap, it’s a...

This place was recommended as a decent place for a reasonable price. That is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. From the moment we arrived the music was too loud and we could barely even speak to each other. We sat and waited for someone to serve us after being told to sit anywhere. Eventually we had a menu and ordered water and our meal. A salad and a burger will not usually take too long. My wife mentioned we may not be a priority because we were not drinking. When our food arrived it was decent. The burger was good and my wife's salad looked good. She is on a restrictive diet and can only eat small portions, so was not able to eat more than 1/3 of her bowl. I asked for a to-go container and a bill. The waitress said no problem. She came back with the bill and debit machine. I again asked her about the to-go container and she said they don't do that anymore. This is after I paid and tipped her fairly well considering the service. I'm pretty sure this place offers take out, so I don't understand. All the waitress could offer was an apology. Was the food good? It was decent. Will I go back? NO! Would I recommend it...

The manager (?) was very rude to my friend, stating ā€œcould you put your foot down, this is a restaurantā€ (in a very snarky tone, might I add) First off, it’s a dive bar, and one of your booths is being used to hold a cooler and some glasses, so calling it a ā€œrestaurantā€ might be a bit of a stretch... Secondly, if she wants to put her leg up to make herself comfortable, then so be it, you should probably let it slide and just clean the booth after if it bothered you that much. Food was subpar, you pay for what you get... drinks were okay... the waitress was sweet, so I’ll give it 2 stars, but aside from that, we won’t be back.

First time trying this place. Reminds me a lot of Queen St Warehouse in Toronto. They told us service would be a bit slow because they were short staffed, but we found service quick. The food is what it is. This place caters to the younger (ie college/university) crowd. Cheap drinks, cheap eats. Therefore, the portions are smaller. Great spot to stop in for a quick bite before an event. Interesting decor. Sorry for the bad food pics....there was a strobe light overhead. We'd go here again.

Entry was free before 9 PM when we went for a live show last Friday, buy I do believe it's only a $5 cover charge after 9. They had lots of snack options for only $7 (we tried the big mac fries and the deep fried pickles, both super yummy by the way!) and the waitresses are super sweet šŸ˜„ it can be a bit hectic trying to get an order in when it gets busy, and it definitely does get packed, but it was honestly a great time with a fun atmosphere.
