BOOK IT NOW! AMAZING! I cannot see this show not being booked SOLID when things start to pick up later. I stubbled upon this magic show while browsing online trying to fill up my family trip to Niagara. I had no idea it existed and it's a TRAVESTY it is not more well known. Upon arriving I see why I had not heard of the show, the venue is quite unassuming and modest. It really NEEDS a big flashy sign with a lot of lights to get the notice of the tourists (especially when you compare it with the big flashy lights of the tourist area only a block over.. which in comparison in content, this show is FAR FAR SUPERIOR to anything the Niagara area offers in entertainment). I cannot say enough good things about this show! SERIOUSLY! I was BLOWN AWAY! An amazing show! Plus tigers! And trained birds! Excellent show for children as well. Only comment I could possibly make to help the show would be a couple of back up dancers for the lovely assistant when she dances in between sets to really polish things of. Pro side of meal: great quality, fast, the staff where great, it had simple options but delicious ones, which the perfect sized portions. For down side, app menu was not available before dinner, only during show. Food was tad on the cool side and they messed up the timing a bit, also the table at the front was a bit wobbly and my chair was missing some screws at the backrest, which was a tad annoying. For food options I recommend the Cesar salad (WOW), the steak sandwich (SO tasty!) with fries (amazing fries!) and apple blossom desert (yum!) options. All super delicious! The salmon option with veg was good, but it was a tad dry and lacking sauce (the green avocado? sauce didn't do much for the flavor pairing), also veg which was a nice mix was rather flat and tasteless (freezer?)... but the mash potatoes wear amazing!.. I'd have loved a second scoop of those! Cocktails were GREAT and they even had a mocktail section which was hidden in the kids menu... as a pregnant woman I did appreciate this selection even if I didn't find it until way later into the show. Also loved the gift shop with the tiger stuffed animals. Super soft, cute, huggable and high quality stuffed animals! Could go even bigger on the gift shop selection, I would have probably dropped more cash for merch for sure. I highly recommend to see this show if you visit Niagara region... for me it is a MUST visit! They offer free parking so that is great, but if you are drinking, getting a cab out was impossible, you need to use uber. a bus or walk.

What an amazing experience! This was our first magic show ever and it was better than anticipated. THE VIBE: The theater was al ot bigger than expected. There was ample free parking at the front - which we appreciated as one would normally need to pay for most parking spots in Niagara. Upon walking in, we were greeted by two macaws and a cockatoo LOL. The bar area has a nice little hang out spot where we grabbed a drink while we waited for friends to arrive. The theater itslef was way bigger than I expected - lots of tables and chairs, big stage, and an AMAZING sound and lighting system. The venue is quite spacious with two sets of large bathrooms that I'm please to report were very clean. THE FOOD: The buffet was fantastic! Yummy mashed potatoes, roast beef, veggies, soup, etc - everything tasted great. I've eaten at lots of buffets before but the quality of the food here was way better than I was expecting...I ended up eating twice and was considering going back for thirds. THE SHOW: We had no idea who Greg Frewin was before this show, however, we were quite impressed to learn that Canada is home to such an accomplished and talented master magician. Greg is as funny as he is talented. His illusions took us by surprise and had us in awe asking "how in the world did he do that?". His assistants were also amazing to watch including Canada's first female magician Alexandra. THE STAFF: What a group of friendly and SUPER efficient individuals! Our server was on the ball, attentive, and so pleasant to all of us. And, everyone else from Mona who greeted us when we arrived, to the bar staff, popcorn station staff, and servers - all top notch! FINAL WORDS: Although we'd been to Niagara a couple of times before, this was the first time we attended a show. In my opinion, this particular dinner & show experience is well worth it. This is a fantastic experience for: - Birthday parties - Corporate events - Anniversaries - Valentines day gift - Or just a great night out with family and friends.

My first experience here was much better than my latest. A lot has changed. First off, Greg is retiring, so he barely performed it was his protégé instead. We booked the dinner and show, I was lead to believe it was a served dinner but it was a buffet which would have been fine except when we were rold we could go dine the chafing dishes were empty so we had to stand there and wait several minutes. By the time we ate out food and attempted to grab a dessert, the food was cleared away, so arrive extra early if you are paying for the dinner. The servers had great personalities, but the way they serve the beverages is annoying. I suppose it is to limit the traffic in and out of the doors. However, they could place a curtain behind the doors to block extra light from shining in when the doors are opened. It took 15+minutes just to get a bottle of beer. They wait for all of the drink orders in your section to be finished before they bring any. If you are not booking a provate booth, you may want to make sure you have 8 people in your group. Otherwise, you will be seated with strangers. Arrive early so that you can get the better seats because you could end up behind people that obstruct your view. Hoping to see tigers? So was I, but they were not included in the program when I went (Jan. 6, 2023). The show itself was entertaining. The young magician could work a bit more on his acting like there is some struggle pushing the blades through the assistants, but all in all, it is still a good show. It was rather disappointing expecting to see a renowned magician and his tigers and then watching a show that was someone else. It was a birthday surprise for my mom, and she had a great time. The theatre even displayed birthday wishes to her on the big screen, which brought tears to her eyes. It is a great show for family, friends or date night. Many of the tricks will have you asking how did they do that. Oh yes, and be prepared that you may be called up onto the stage if you are in the front rows.

Saw the David DaVinci show last night here and added the dinner buffet option. I would recommend you book your seats in advance or you could end up sitting with strangers. We reserved a booth for the 4 of us that was close to the stage which was ideal.

So this is a distinctly difficult review. There are two important aspects of the theatre that I wish to review. The show itself and the food. Let’s start with the food. There is a buffet option you can add that is extra but they do have food you can order off the menu if you choose. We chose to add the buffet. It’s a bit of a walk to the buffet so if you have mobility issues that’s a consideration. The buffet food was mostly bland and served lukewarm despite the fact we got there early and arrived before the buffet opened. It had chicken, a ‘white’ fish (likely tilapia) and roast beef for the meats, a pasta, roasted and mashed potatoes, veggies, salad and desserts. I had a bit of everything. The Caesar salad was good, as were the roasted potatoes but the rest was not very tasty, nor was it served hot. They must have cooked the food early in day and were not keeping it warm enough. You could get ratatouille made to order (which we did) and pizza and chicken fingers for ‘kids’. We were not accompanied with children but were allowed to order the pizza as did others. The ratatouille was ok and served hot and the pizza was hot but undercooked and not very tasty. The desserts were the best part of the meal. It comprised of a variety of cookies, brownies, Nanaimo bars and some cake. They were served cold but tasted good.

So overall the food was a big disappointment and I would not recommend the buffet

As for the show, it was amazing! DaVinci was professional and so talented. Just some great magic tricks and illusions that were hard to comprehend. He really puts on an electrifying performance accompanied by upbeat music and the theatre has a great sound system. His microphone kept cutting out which was a bit annoying. But he carried on with replacements as a pro and it did not distract too much from the performance.

I definitely recommend this show. The service was also quite good. The server gets your drinks and made to order items. Our server was friendly and efficient. As some stated here it can be a bit distracting when the servers walk by during the show but you get used to it.

So overall I would recommend the DaVinci show and this theatre. He was only there for a limited engagement so I cannot speak to the other entertainment offered by this theatre. I just cannot recommend dining here if you care about quality of food and perhaps even food safety. If the meats were served that cool (practically room temperature) there is no telling how long the food was left out for and clearly it was not...

I booked tickets for this show before COVID and my tickets were canceled until further notice when we all went on lockdown. Which was fine, I understood that. What really upset me was there was no clear communication as to how the theatre was handling the cancellations (refunds, postponing reservations, etc), and I only knew they had reopened when I checked their website. They never responded to my email asking what was going on with the canceled tickets. When they reopened I emailed them asking what the next steps were and they offered to rebook my tickets for a future date. This was rebooked back in August for a show in September.

I paid for Level 1 (front row) tickets because the booking was originally for my boyfriend’s birthday and I was hoping there would be some performer-audience interaction with our table. So when our tickets were rebooked, I was still expecting to be seated in the area I had purchased tickets for. When my boyfriend and I arrived on the rebooked date of the show, they seated us in Level 2. I checked their website and saw that there was a price difference in both levels, so I went to speak to their staff members and showed my originally purchased tickets. The booking staff told me that they book based on “priority” and that levels 1, 2 and 3 were treated all the same, and seating was assigned based on when it was booked. I booked this more than a month in advance (and originally, six months ago), so not exactly sure what booking based on “priority” even meant? Meanwhile all three levels were priced differently. The lady then went on to tell me that the level 2 seating area was “much better in her opinion anyways, and that we were in good seats”. The level 2 seating area was poorly arranged, where chairs weren’t even facing the stage so we had to awkwardly sit sideways in our chair the entire performance while seeing the stage between the heads of people sitting in front of us.

The show itself was alright, classic magician show tricks and illusions, nothing really stood out, but the booking side was awful. Will not be going back for...
