Good location just minutes away from the main square and amazingly friendly and enthusiastic staff. Breakfast was reasonable especially for a very small hotel with choice of eggs, a fresh fruit platter and a selection of breads, plus coffee and a juice.|The room was not a nice place to stay - I could not see any wat to heat or cool the room other than open or close the shutter (there are no windows, so you either have your room open to veranda or closed and in the dark. The wifi was good. Bathroom was just acceptable with a powerful and warm shower but no hot water in the sink.|The wood floors seemed to be mopped with water and bleach everyday which was reassuring in the fact that bacteria was probably non existent but disappointing with the bleach smell. Read moreHad an amazing stay here. Beautiful old colonial hotel recently renovated, right next to Salento’s main plaza. Very comfortable king size beds. Very clean and nice bathrooms with rain showers and hot water. Incredibly friendly, helpful and organized front desk (Muchas gracias Mauricio!). They helped us organize fun tours of the region each day and gave us great recommendations on what to do during our 4 days in Salento (we arrived without a plan). The breakfast (which were included) were also really really good, everything was made to order and the banana pancakes were out of this world! They also had a same day laundry service (for an small additional fee) which was very convenient. The patio garden of the hotel was beautiful and idyllic and there was hot coffee and hot water for tea available all day for free which was really nice as well. I can basically recommend everything...
