My stay at this hotel was truly excellent. When I arrived and before I even checked in, I joined their free mountain - climbing activity in Cocororo. The tour guide was amazing. We got back to the hotel in the afternoon on that day, having completed the big loop in just one morning. In the afternoon, we participated in their free local snack - tasting event. It was really enjoyable and I made new friends. Moreover, they provided shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, which I thought was very generous. The accommodation environment offers a high level of privacy. You can choose to open or close the door, and decide whether to socialize or not. The rooms are clean, and the front - desk staff are all very friendly and willing to help. The tour guide, Mauricio Marroquin, who is also one of their staff members, is extremely friendly. Thanks to him, the hiking activity was both safe and fun. The free local snack - making event was also great. He recommended delicious and inexpensive local restaurants and places to have juice for me. Everything...
Read moreI stayed at Bindi for 2 nights absolutely loved it. When i book a hostel i try to look out for 4 things, which by default already make my stay more comfortable. And they fulfill all of them. Checkout: 12pm Towel: Free Bathroom: Clean, warm and big shower AC: Not necessary as it’s not hot in salento
To go a bit more in depth. Especially the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff was exceptional in Bindi for me, at least compared to lots of other hostels i’ve been in. You can really feel that everyone puts effort to give you a nice experience. If it’s Mauro in the kitchen or Manuel who we went on a pub crawl with, or the owner Sebastian who personally took me to the train station in Armenia cause i needed to catch a bus to bogota. They are so involved and invested in making your stay good. Only thing was i needed to remember 3 security codes. Front door, Dorm door and my locker haha
I also played the traditional game with sebastian and mauro that’s similar to tijo, which you can play on...
Read moreThis was such an aesthetic hostel! The staff were incredibly kind—they lent me a towel, upgraded my room from an 8-bed to a 6-bed dorm, and even provided a hairdryer.
The showers were absolutely fantastic—great water pressure, boiling hot water, and they even provide shampoo and body wash. The beds were super comfy, though quite noisy when moving around. I really appreciated the added privacy from the sliding shutters.
The rooftop bar was a great spot, and I loved the free social events they hosted—perfect for meeting people. I didn’t try the food, but from what I saw, the breakfast didn’t seem worth the price. However, the coffee was good, and they even had oat milk!
The only downside was that the bathrooms often ran out of toilet paper, and no one seemed to restock them. Also that the wifi was very unreliable and barely worked unless you were on the balcony!
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hostel. Great location and a...
