We took the tour to the Blue Cave + 5 islands, for 1,000 kunas per person (133€), it included the ticket entry to the Cave. The girl who attended us at the counter was friendly and quite convincing, so we decided to take the tour with them.
The speedboat is in perfect condition, the captain and guides who accompanied us during the trip were friendly, they replied to people's questions and gave some facts about the places, but apart from that they didn't have much interaction with the group, nor did they say that they have a "shower" (hose) so we had to be sticky all day because of seawater. I have no idea if there were life jackets, as we were never told anything. Must say they played very good music during the journey!
The most redeeming part of the tour is the visit to the Blue Cave and the Porat Beach, where we spent 45 minutes while we waited for our turn to go to the Cave. For the rest, I think it is quite ambitious to want to travel so much since the distances are very long between each point, which results in having very little time in each place and several members of the group feel that we spend more time on the boat than on land. We also couldn't visit one of the islands, because it was quite full and there was no way they could get us close to the shore.
Maybe it is the same with other companies, we don't know, so as a recommendation it's better to take a tour that only includes 2 or 3 stops for a...
Read moreBooked at the booth on the promenade the day before our trip. We're told the itinerary included Pakleni Islands as a long stop for snorkeling etc. This was the big selling point for us as this was the one place we really wanted to go, and also the Blue Cave. She did not inform us that the Blue Cave was closed due to weather the last two days. We understand they can't help the weather, but that might have been a good thing to know. We were messaged the evening before saying we were to meet at a different booth the next morning, we assumed to put small groups together into one boat. We ended up with a different company whose team we cannot fault at all, they were great. But they then told us that the Pakleni islands were shut for the season 20 days ago so no tours go to them!! Surely as a tour seller, your job is to know this, as it completely changes the trip...
