Every year we walk from Nyhavn all the way to the Lille Havsfrue, which means that stopping by Amalieborg is inevitable. The fountains, the castle and the sea deserve a few pictures, plus from this position you have a unique opportunity to see a "cross-section" of Danish society: kirke (Frederik's Church), kong (the Amalieborg) and kultur (the opera house).

It's nice to see yet in November not as colourful as in spring or summer. Also the fountain was not working. But one thing for sure, if you pass by, you have to take a hot drink at the mobile Kaffe Dronet. I personally took the chai latte and the hot chocolate (it has small marshmallows in). The woman is very friendly and you can pay by card.
