Would I recommend staying here? Yes, but with a large asterisk.

Keep in mind you are paying for the view and the images you've seen on Instagram, that's it.

It is very difficult to find (your Uber driver will almost certainly not find it), there is no one to help you after hours and the fittings in the room are average at best. There is also not really a door-man. During our stay I must have gone in and out of the building 40 times and saw the door-man on 4 occasions.

During our stay I wasn't able to achieve internet speeds of more than 1.5mbps down. The rental agency said the ISP was having issues but didn't offer any solution or alternative. I also had to contact them everyday for an update, they didn't proactively contact me. Our toilet stopped working during our stay and was fixed same day. Also FYI, the accommodation asks you to not flush any toilet paper down the toilet and to use the hand sprayer instead, keep this in mind.

Stay here for a night, pop a bottle of champagne in the jacuzzi, get some good shots for social media, head up to the pyramids and then spend your time in Cairo...

Overall my stay here was positive and I would recommend the place to other travellers for 1-2 nights. The interior of the house is as described. It was very clean when we arrived. There's a lift to get up to the flat, which is definitely necessary. The A/C works well and keeps the room cool and of course the view of the pyramids is great.

Yasser and the other co-hosts were very responsive and helpful with communication, from suggestions on how to reach the location from the airport, to how to find the house and what facilities are available in the locality.

The only downside for me - and the reason I haven't rated it 5 stars - is the location and the building itself. The building seems like it's still under construction with a lot of exposed work, even in the elevator shaft. The locality also seemed a bit under developed to me. We were able to find most of the things we needed in terms of groceries or street food though, and I'm sure both the building and locality will...

The view is worth the stay! My Husband & I stayed here in October and was blown away by the view its really spectacular and super enjoyable to watch the sunset and light show from. The room is super clean and modern. The host has great english. The key lock was not the right code and it took a local child to help us open it which was concerning they knew the code and also meant we needed to tip. The building is very dirty and we could smell cigarets during our stay which made it uncomfortable but the view distracts from this. We did not use the Jacuzzi as the hot water was not working properly.
