Nefertari Papyrus Museum — Local services in Giza

Hey I hope I have the correct place, on 24th and 25th October 2025 I went into a souvenir shop called Sultan looking for a particular Ramses statue and a very polite young man in a white top around 18 or 19 took me to this shop looking for it he said it was his uncles place, we couldn't find it but he was so kind to me this was on 24th then on 25th I came back to try again and in the Sultan shop there was another gentleman probably in his mid 30s and the young man they both went above and beyond for me to find the Ramses statue and they went to a lot of trouble running all over Giza and found it!!! I just wanted to please ask you if you know the owner of the Sultan shop as I think your family are running both hopefully I have that correct, to please pass on my sincere gratitude for the kindness I was shown. I was the one from England dressed in black with brain tumours and the left side paralysed face and did the skydive over the pyramids. They probably see so many people they won't remember me the gentleman in his mid 30s or so he showed me face massages to do to help and I just wanted to be able to say how thankful I am to him and the younger guy they were both so helpful it blew my mind exceptional customer service that I received. If I have the wrong family who run Sultan shop please forgive me, I went inside your shop too and everything was absolutely beautiful. I just could not find Sultan shop online but I remember this one was linked to it I'm sure he said this was his Uncle's place, so I thought this would be my only chance to pass on my thank you to them, wishing you all as much health and happiness as your hearts and hands can hold, I shall never forget the kindness and understanding I was shown. Omar was extremely nice and welcoming from the start! He attended me so warmly and I would recommend you to go to this store! The past reviews also let you know how this store is way better than the others.

It’s a tiny store with many beautiful items, you just have to come in and look for yourself and I loved the beautiful paintings even more when Omar shut off the lights, the whole room was glowing!

I tried sugarcane here too and it was my first time trying it in general and it was super tasty!

Walking distance from the hotel and nobody really bothers you as you walk to his shop.

He also has a 2nd shop, so just ask him!

His nephew was very nice too!!

Also he has prices on the paintings, so you know what you’re about to buy and the price ranges for the different sizes so this shop showed honesty and they take tap pay, so it was an even better...

Nasser, the owner is a very kind man. He was very helpful. My partner and I happend across his shop and he welcomed us with open arms. Nasser helped organise a camel rides around the Pyramid complex, a dinner on the nile, along with lots of directions, helping us with transport, buses, etc. If you are in the area make sure to stop at his store. He will help organise anything you need as well as recommend activities to do while you are there. Unlike most of the locals in the area, Nasser is an honest man and will explain everything, not just the nice things. He will also tell you what to watch out for and offer you reasonable prices. We will visit again...
