Sunshine Restaurant & Cafe — Restaurant in Giza

We came to this location only because of its relative proximity chose it by random. There’s another 20 shops that’s offered the same exact service. The guy came up to me and asked me what was in my bag as if he was police. I told him it was none of his business and I felt like he was intruding into my privacy. The waiter said the only issue is that if it’s alcohol, you can drink I said no I’m not gonna drink no alcohol here a few minutes passed by comes back repeat the same sentence over and over again I told him I came to enjoy the night with my wife. I don’t need you hovering over me. He said OK five more minutes passes by some man that claimed he was management approached didn’t say a word picked up my drink smelled it poured it into a cup. I’m thinking what what are you doing? Is it no I’m sorry I said what is this no no no it goes on to just say everything‘s good. Everything’s good and disappears. I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life. Come to establishment pay good money only to have it thrown back in my face the reasons I do not understand. I know there’s a level of slight racism and I’m a barely even a shade off all the people that are approaching me as an American who’s flown a very long flight, but was very cordial. I highly recommend you go to any of the planning locations that are around. There are establishments that are even closer to the pyramids. The entrance was in a shady alleyway. I feel the way they targeted me because he saw that I was an American a tourist and maybe I’m not sure was trying to. Bamboozled out of a few bucks, but it would’ve been a lot easier to just ask for a good tip. Do Not Recommend This place is definitely some sort of scam. We stopped here for food. There were two different menus with different prices on each. We ordered a pizza, after waiting 36 minutes we asked to cancel the order and went to leave. They said no that it would be one minute. We waited another 5 and then got up to leave. As we were leaving they followed us out saying we had to pay. There was no food and we didn’t take any drinks. We argued with them for another 10 minutes at which time the pizza showed up. It was cold to the touch, not even warm. We left without eating it or paying and walked back to the hotel. Very weird...

SCAM MONEY !!!!! We have been in Cairo for 10 days now, we decided to go for dinner in this restaurant, we did not like the food, despite this we found ourselves in the receipt as an extra tax of 26% so about 10 $ more than what we ate following the menu prices. we dined in different restaurants we never found such a situation, so this restaurateur cheated us 10 € more than what we spent, we didn't tell her anything because we didn't want to fight. absolutely not recommended, there is no beautiful view of the pyramids, the food is bad, and tourists are...
