Trip on the pyramid — Local services in Giza

I have just spent the last couple of months in Giza, staying very close to the pyramids. I feel very lucky to have met Tamer during this period as he helped to show me some amazing experiences. He organised ATV rides in the desert, tours of the pyramids, camel rides with well looked after camels, and showed me great hospitality, these experiences will live with me forever. I cannot recommend Tamer enough, he is not trying to scam anyone or overcharge for anything, he is a very honest, hard working guy that helped make me feel very welcome. I now consider him a good friend.

There are a lot of untrustworthy people or scam artists operating in the area but having spent a good amount of time there and getting to know Tamer as well as the others working with him at his shop I can confidently say that you will be treated very well.

Anyone reading this and planning to visit the pyramids in Giza could not find a better person to deal with. He speaks good English and can organise anything you want...

During my holiday in Egypt I was given a recommendation to visit this tour operator. I came to ask about the need to know details on visiting the pyramids. Six hours later, after having had a surprisingly emotional tour around the pyramids. I came back to thank Tamer for his advice and recommendations. A group of 10 friends came from New Zealand to ride with Ride Egypt. We arrived a couple of days early and were all unsure where to our start our exploring without "being taken advantage off." By chance we met Tamar. Nothing was too much trouble for Tamar and he looked after us so well. Organised well cared for camels and guided us. Organised our tickets into the Pyramids, by-passing a long queue and guided us. Organised different shopping and money exchange. And a cool place to sit in his shop while we drank mint drinks.
