This place is amazing. The permanent exhibition is dedicated to the Estonian modernist artist Adamson-Eric and displays his work across two floors in a really innovative way. There are lots of different mediums on display and his life story is fascinating. I knew nothing of him before and I am glad to be more knowledgeable now. The temporary exhibition when I visited was also fantastic. It was focused on materials and sustainability and showcased Estonian women artist. Can't recommend visiting this...

A museum in Tallinn I had never somehow managed to visit. Our curator tour took place as part of an archaeology related event but in my opinion the displays allowed for a good, informative viewing even for those with no archaeology background. The mix of the finds with modern jewellery and prints was an interesting touch. The exhibitions change but the curator level is of a high standard so I would recommend the museum to anyone with a bit of time to...

Currently apart from Adamson-Eric works there is another, modern art exhibition which i really enjoyed. I took part in a guided tour by an exhibition curator (they guide you through the modern art exhibition) in english which take place every now and then. If you have the opportunity I reccomend to take part in it as it enhances the expierience a lot. I learned about contemporary estionian artists and saw Adamson-Eric works. I had...

I wouldn't have paid for this separately, but it's included in the Tallin card you can buy from the Tourist information shop, really excellent value for money & I'd highly recommend. If you're really into art this would be worth the money, but otherwise it's a little steep. They do have some wonderful art though 😀 There are a lot of floors, including a downstairs, so be sure not to miss any out

An amazing place — a compact, cozy museum dedicated to a talented Estonian artist from the early 20th century, with a pleasant little backyard and swings. It's lovely to explore the exhibitions and then sit in the well-designed garden, surrounded by old houses and vine-covered walls. There's also a nice shop with many kinds of art-related souvenirs and very friendly staff and curators.
