Marché Gambetta — Attraction in Grasse

I've walked through and by this market several times now. Maybe it's changed in the last few years but it doesn't look anything like the photos you see on the internet. I even kept double checking that I am writing a review for the same correct market. I don't see a market even worth visiting. Very few produce stalls, like 2. Mostly stalls are either cheap crap or second hand stuff not worth pawing through on the off chance you might find something good. It reminds me more of a swap meet...

Quaint little market where one doesn't get harassed. Fruit vegetables cheeses and meats . Lovely clothes shoes and bags and jewellery too. I ended up with 3 pairs of shoes at 20 euros each and a lovely handbag at 39 euros. Worth a visit and respite from those expensive boutiques along...

Beautiful setting with great live music that really set the mood 🥰

The arancini and tendron steak with fries were the highlights. The green salad and Pizza Margherita were just average, and the frozen tiramisu didn’t quite impress.
