Lunch on Tzatzi's Sunny Terrace!
On a Monday in June, around noon I had lunch at Tzatzi in Strasbourg. This bar/restaurant is an absolute gem! The sunny terrace added a perfect touch to the experience, making it a delightful spot to enjoy a variety of mezzes in the warm June weather.
Tzatzi took me on a mouthwatering journey across the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Their mezzes, pidés, and other delicious treats were bursting with flavors that made my taste buds dance with joy. The food was prepared with love and care, using fresh ingredients that elevated each dish to perfection.
What made my lunch even more enjoyable was the fantastic service. The staff at Tzatzi were incredibly friendly ensuring that I had everything I needed to have a memorable experience.
The best part was that Tzatzi catered to all dietary preferences, including a great selection of vegetarian options. As a vegetarian myself, I was thrilled to find such a variety of flavorful dishes that suited my tastes perfectly.
To complement the fantastic food, Tzatzi's drinks menu was equally impressive. The refreshing cocktails and beverages they offered were a delightful accompaniment to my meal, enhancing the overall dining experience. Take the fresh Limonana with lemon and mint, or the Thé Glacé for a bit of a sweeter drink.
If you're looking for a place to enjoy delicious food in a vibrant and summery setting, Tzatzi's terrace is the place to be. The crowd and servicing team is young. Popular place...
Read moreWe wanted to eat at their place today. We were two people with two (small) children. We entered through the door, it was not busy and almost 7 tables were free without a sign on them that they were reserved. When we entered we met a waitress who was at the bar, she was very nice and didn't say there was no place for us, then she asked the hostess. The hostess was also nice and she wanted to check, but there was a waiter, probably in charge of the shift, very rude, he straight up said there was no place, the hostess wanted to check if it was possible to receive us at a later time and then he answered no and added another hour, all this while he spoke rudely coldly and even He didn't look at us (he had glasses and tattoos - this information for the owner). Recently I have visited many restaurants, they have never treated us in such a rude manner, I understand that sometimes it is not appropriate to have children because the place is packed and there is no place, but this was not the case and is not treated this way. Too bad, the owner of the restaurant will only lose customers if he continues to employ...

The Pide beef was undercooked, with raw dough, but the waiter was very friendly and helpful. The Pide tasted quite different from traditional Turkish Pide; I’m not sure if I would call it Pide. I’m also uncertain if I’ll order it again as it didn’t feel authentic.
The Falafel didn’t have flavors I loved much; it was a bit dry, but it was okay with Tahini and Yogurt. It makes me doubt if they make it there.
The Tabbouleh salad was amazing, but the crispy addition seemed out of place and somewhat ruined the salad, in my opinion. However, the flavors were still amazing!
The Crispy chicken was a bit undercooked inside, but the Tzatziki was amazing!
The Baba Ganoush was perfectly amazing.
The Hummus with two Kebabs was really good, but maybe adding some extra tahini or Amba would enhance it further.
Thanks for...
