Baan Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Tbilisi

Not a fans of writing review, so this is going to be my first. The food was horrible, the taste was bad and the food poisoning was even worse. As a Thai myself, I feel very shameful to have such a restaurant serving my home cuisine. This was just the second day of my trip, more than a week has passed but i still suffered very badly from food poisoning. My friend has just revived 2 days ago. When my food came I went all Hugh Grant and tried to over explain why I had to run away while leaving all my food and half my beer. I said I had an emergency and had to leave. So I paid in full and ran away instead of telling them their food is absolutely appalling. Make of that what you will. Was pleasantly surprised by our meal as it was empty on a Saturday night when we went in. The steam pork with chilli was my favourite, tender and went well with the fish sauce used. What looked like Massaman curry pork was cooked like the real thing - not surprising as the chef is from Thailand/Cambodia. I think Basmati rice was used instead of the usual Thai Jasmine but it was cooked just right - moist without being over cooked. Price was very reasonable.
