Went there yesterday afternoon for lunch with my friend happily BUT walking out with disappointment. Food was good, BUT the service totally not satisfactory mainly on 2 points:.

Point 1. upon enter, 2 of us were being told coldly by the server with handlebar mustache to sit at the place right in front of the entrance while the whole restaurant is literally empty (as photo), and even told us to go to another restaurant nearby that said offering the same menu if we are not satisfied with the seat arrangement. We didn’t choose to leave at that point and sit at the ONLY place that was ā€œavailableā€that time. but the funny part is there are upcoming group of guests that come after us were allowed to sit freely (which are also walk-in like us). Why is there such a different treatment?

Point 2: we were forced to pay for the extra main dish that was mistakenly ordered, as the waiter mistakenly assumed we ordered for 2set of exactly SAME main dish (we must be love the dish so much and can’t help to order for 2). the waiter didn’t confirm again all the order with us/repeat the order (which usually all waiter will do) . and when the main dish were served to us, we told the waiter that we only order for 1, and the server with handlebar mustache once again came out and insisted that he heard we ordered for 2. and insisted us to pay for it. there’s no room of discussion and just said we need to take it and pay for it.

we didn’t put a scene at that point. but we were both disappointed for such treatment. Also, a food waste was caused as 1 main dish portion is good enough for 2 person.

when good food and good vibes are key for a restaurant and margalita having it already, but the service need to be improved.

hope these notes are...

This is the first time I’ve ever left the review on Google Map because I really couldn’t stand the service at this restaurant.

ā€œThe food was good, but the service was very terrible for usā€

[31 Oct : 8 pm] When I first came in, I waited about 5 minutes but no one gave me a menu, and I had to ask for it myself.

I ordered 4 dishes; the 3 dishes came within 20 minutes, but the SHKMERULI(Chicken in milk garlic sauce) didn't come with them. Normally, dishes should arrive around the same time, without too much delay between them.

But I waited almost an hour and followed up with the staff three times, and each time they only said it was on its way. Finally, after another 30 minutes, it was served. In total wait more than an hour for this menu????

Even though the food tasted good but my experience for this restaurant was already ruined. I ended up finishing it in the restaurant because I was worried that if I asked to take it away, it would take even longer. Moreover, I waited another 10 minutes just to pay, and paid 18% service charge for this poor service?!?!

My suggestion is improve your service and be more attentive to all customers. Hard working to check customer's mood when you see that a customer may not be happy, and work hard to make customer feel more satisfied. For example, if a customer follows up about their food, you could say, ā€˜The food will be ready in about 10 minutes. We apologize for the wait,’ or ā€˜We’re very sorry for the delay as it’s busy today, and your order was unfortunately missed. Would you still like to have it? If so, we’ll prioritize...

Good depending on the dish but too expensive for the quality. The Adjarian khachapuri was very tasty - the best dish we tried in this place. The kninkali with meat and greenery contained almost no greenery but did contain way too much cumin (or similar spice) instead - so I could barely taste the meat. The Georgian salad contained some marinated flowers which I did not like at all and that were difficult to filter out. Those flowers very very sour and salty. Otherwise the salad was good. So if you are just like me then ask them to not add those flowers. The phali with the beetroot and the eggplant were good but the ones with the spinach and the beans were just a disaster. We had to take the rest of the phali assortment away and then threw away the phali with beans. Throwing away the food is not something I typically do but the bean phali were just disgusting. By the way the staff charged 1GEL for packing the food for take away - this is not something I have ever seen in my life. The wine menu only has prices for full bottles and not glasses although they sell the wine by glasses as well and my mistake was not to clarify the price per glass of wine because the two glasses were almost as expensive as the full bottle. All in all, the final bill was too expensive for the quality we got. 4 stars only because khachapuri was very tasty, otherwise I would rate the place...
