The Sharden Hotel lies in the Jewish quarter of Tbilisi. The Synagogue is not far away. It is possible to go into it and learn a lot about the Jewish past of Tbilisi and Georgia. ||All the sights on this bank of the River can be reached on foot. The Sharden is an ideal place for tourists to explore the old city of Tbilisi. From my room there I had the same view as in the tripadvisor hotel photo. I was overwhelmed! I could see the silhouette of the old city, a lot of churches, etc. The room was neither big, nor great, but it was okay for the little time I had to spend there before and after sightseeing. The same goes for the bathroom, which was rather elementary. ||At the reception I was always treated correctly and in a friendly way. Unfortunately the staff's command of foreign languages was restricted. ||Very special is the atmosphere in the breakfast room, which is not spacious so that you should not come too late in the morning. The breakfast choice was okay. Unsurpassable and a real asset of that hotel were the women who were responsible for the service down there. They cared a lot about the guests' needs, informed us about Georgian traditions and did excellent work on the whole. I miss them!!! ||It is true that it may be loud in the streets nearby on festive days because the Georgians are keen on celebrating. Nevertheless, if I go back to Tbilisi one day, I will book the Sharden again, and not the k hotel which I also...
Read moreI recently stayed at Sharden Hotel and had a wonderful experience!
Location: The hotel is perfectly situated, close to all major city attractions, making it easy to explore.
Breakfast: The breakfast was great—while the variety wasn't extensive, everything was delicious and satisfying.
Room Comfort: The room was very comfortable, featuring a cozy mattress and pillows that made for a great night's sleep.
Cleanliness: I appreciated the neatness of the hotel. They provide room service without needing to ask, which was a nice touch!
Facilities: The heater in both the room and shower worked perfectly, ensuring a warm stay.
Views: The balcony was a highlight for me. I enjoyed a fantastic view of Mother of Georgia right from my room!
Service: The service was excellent! We reported a damaged shower, and the staff was very prompt in addressing the issue, which I truly appreciated.
Con: The only downside is that the smell from the sink goes around the washroom was a li'l bit uncomfortable and the elevator only goes up to the 2nd floor while our room was on the 4th tho there will be few steps only in each floor level. Overall it was manageable and I would highly recommend this hotel for its location, comfort,...
Read moreI don’t recommend this hotel. Year before my arrival, accidentally my reservation was cancelled without refund. After this happened, I tried calling and sending mails, to restore my reservation, but the contact was very limited. To this day I didn’t get any response to the mails i have send. People working on the reception weren’t very helpful with my problem. After nearly three weeks i got a response on messenger that they are looking for the solutions regarding this issue. Despite the fact that it is nearly a year to my arrival, the rooms are available and charging me with the cost, hotel is not interested in any help. The only solution that hotel give me was reserving my stay once again and paying the price for the second time. Even one of the people working for Booking.com, who tried to contact with the hotel to help me with my problem, said that it was the first time he met with this unkind approach towards it’s own clients.||I highly don’t recommend...
