Paralia Katharos — Attraction in Municipality of Thira

A lot of people winging about this beach. It is not an organised beach, of course there will be no umbrellas, no bar, no facilities. People complaining lack common sense. A bit hard to find because you have to get through an abandoned construction site. There are no signs whatsoever. Once you're there you find a beautiful natural beach with pretty big stones so make sure to wear watershoes. Almost no people and beautiful views from some rocks on the left side of the beach! Questa caletta si trova a nord dell'isola, sotto Oia. E' costituita principalmente da grossi ciottoli, presenti anche all'interno dell'acqua, quindi consiglio di indossare delle scarpette da mare, utili anche per arrivarci visto che dal parcheggio dovete percorrere un ripido sentiero polveroso. La spiaggia non è attrezzata, troverete solo un bar in cima, al livello del parcheggio, ma non potrete noleggiare lettini o ombrelloni. Suggerisco anche un materassino se desiderate sdraiarvi per terra, soprattutto se volete sostare sul lato destro che è più appartato e tranquillo, ma anche più ciottoloso.
