Shenoys is back.. But I'm hugely disappointed that they changed the huge vistarama screen which made Shenoys a world famous theatre. Now they have a 5 screen multiplex which is hugely overpriced. (Minimum price is 220 rupees) The renovation work looks classy.. They have completely changed the interior.. They have state of the art facilities.. Good cafe and a restaurant.. All screens have 4K projection.. Good sound system and AC.. But only one screen have dolby atmos sound. Nowadays most of the renovated theaters provide dolby atmos and 4K projection at 40-50% lower price than that of here. This price cannot be justified. If they had maintained the iconic vistarama screen and made it a 4K dolby atmos screen then this price could be justified. But for 5 small - medium sized screens with stereo sound system this is too much.. PVR , Vanitha Vineetha etc provide the same quality at half this price..(They have much larger parking space too).. EVM cinema Kochi have 4K dolby atmos even they are charging much lesser.. If the authorities are targeting only a specific class of audience then it's okay.. They might be able to afford this price.. But I don't think the common man of Kochi who were always with Shenoys will be able to afford this price.. If this price continues I am sure that they will avoid coming to this beautifull and iconic theatre..

I am only disappointed with the price they charge for the quality they provide.. They film experience I had was flawless and I enjoyed watching Operation...

I recently visited Shenoy Theatre’s Luxe screen for a 7:45 pm movie, paying a premium price of ₹925+ for two tickets. Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to share my feedback.

Parking Issues: We arrived well in advance at 7:05 pm, only to be told by the security staff that there was no parking space available for two-wheelers. We were asked to park outside on the roadside. This felt like a disregard for those who choose to commute on two-wheelers, and the tone of the staff was sarcastic and unwelcoming.

Sound System Problems: Once inside, the next major issue was the sound system. It was excessively loud, making the experience uncomfortable. Shortly after the introduction titles, I noticed a family with two children leaving the theatre, likely due to the unbearable sound levels. We even questioned the sound quality of the movie, but the trailers (including one for Venom) had the same problem. After enduring this for two and a half hours, I left with a splitting earache that lasted for nearly two hours. My friend also experienced ear pain the following morning.

For a theatre that charges such a high price for tickets, I expected a much more comfortable and well-rounded experience. Unfortunately, the poor sound management and lack of adequate parking facilities made this visit highly disappointing.

I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves the quality of their service, especially considering the premium price...
