It's like it's outside but not cause there's a roof and shops and when it rains there's no wet on the floors in the place and I can get a proper look at the phone covers and shakra crystals what hang from the selling people's boxes in the middle of the market that's inside but kinda outside cause sometimes you feel a good breeze running through the place when you're thinking of getting a tattoo in that place down the end but you're unsure cause maybe it's not a good idea to get a Tay Tay tatt on the small of your back when you're actually nearly thirty and standing in yer boy George's Arcade and you came here to see if they still have a Miss Pacman but the lad selling gorrmay jumbo sausage rolls down the back near the tattoo place says they never had a Pacman machine let alone his missus and you're left wondering why they even called it an arcade in the first place and you get so confused by this whole mess and because of said mental mess you end up buying a black circle with ridges in by someone called LSD Soundsystem from this lad in a side shop that's only selling CD's that are massive and I have to buy something called a 'record player' to even use the LSD cause it's from Beethoven's ma's time but even still a few of the people selling odds and ends about the place have some of Asha's t-shirt overflow so I can get a Slipknot t-shirt for like 30 beans cause it's vintage now and the consumer crisis that I'm having in the place has left me with questions that can only be fixed by the creepy mess of curtains near the sausage salesman where someone's reading palms and using a deck of card's with pictures and no numbers on it to tell me that a planet has anything to do with the fact that my car insurance is up and I don't think I can afford the premium on it but I ask him what the euromillions numbers on and if he can tell me which of the seventeen All Cash scratch cards I bought has the ten grand on it three times and he looks at me like I'm not in on some kind of joke and then takes my tenner and I'm back out and up to George's Street cause I need to get the 14 from down the way but I missed it cause there's too many people getting the bus from the IFSC so I pop over to some pub across from where the stop is outside the old outlet place and the pub is called the Long Hall and I wonder if they have a pint of cream that would be any use and the floor boards and tables...
Read moreFor anyone looking for reviews on the K-pop shop rare– I noticed there was basically nothing on Rare, aka the K-pop shop. I unfortunately didn't take any pictures of the shop, but I will describe my experience. The shop is quiet small, and it would fit a maximum of ten if all browsing. The shop sells a variety of items, some street wear t-shirts for non K-pop lovers as well as BT21 pillows and pyjamas which I think to be official. The shop also sells a variety of K-pop clothing, but I don't think they're official seen as they are hard enough to get a hold of on official websites or at concerts. In the shop, they also sell a variety of unofficial photocards, lots of BTS but also including exo, twice, GOT7, blackpink etc. Posters, picket fans, stickers, photocard boxes and pillows with K-pop idols faces (I saw only BTS). There could be more stuff there, but that's all I could think of.
Prices I could think of– BT21 pillows– €25ea. Unofficial photocards– €2ea. Unofficial photocard boxes– €15ea. Posters– €2.50ea. Keyrings– €4ea. BT21 Keyrings– €6ea. Picket fans– €4ea. BT21 pyjamas– €35 (set I'm presuming) Albums– different prices but it would be cheaper to get them online. e.g LY: Tear €29
Edit– there are other little stalls in the arcade which do sell a variety of different anime and K-pop memorabilia. Posters and stickers are what I saw as well as...
