Catholic University of the Sacred Heart — Attraction in Milan

I had much higher expectations before coming here. First of all, the social clubs or things that students can do to get a hobby are very limited and almost unattainable at school. For example, there are no things like a gym or art studio, students are made to feel like they only have to do something academically, but it shouldn't be like this. Also, you have to struggle for days to get any simple information because whoever you ask either doesn't know or directs you somewhere else. In addition, I was in the international relations department and very few of the teachers were good. The others were either extremely indifferent or extremely rude. I thought university would add more knowledge and skills to me ,but instead I lost all my skills that i had before the university, thanks to here. Only thing that I learned was how to memorize and pass classes. I don't know where else in my life I will experience the anger and stress I experienced here because of the exams, teachers and the institution, but it wore me out mentally. I was an Erasmus student. No contact or classes with Italian students in amphitheater or whatever. We thought we would be studying in the main campus, but nope. Instead you go here and there. The organization was a bit chaotic, but I got to understand that it’s just normal in Italy when you are used to organized schedules, people on time and not last minute emails. Once my teacher came one hour late with a shopping bag lol. Otherwise I learnt a few things I didn’t know, but it was mostly a disappointment as on the paper they proposed something totally different from what you get.

I wrote this review in order to prevent anyone from falling into the trap of this university, as happened to me. After completing the registration and payment, on the day of the entrance exam, we waited for the link but did not receive anything. After several attempts to contact them, I was able to get the contact number of the person authorized to answer, and his answer was simply, “Sorry, the exam is over, and nothing can be done, wait for the next year.” Knowing that the error is from the university or possibly technical issues for not sending any link to log in for the examination.
