BON Tokyo Asakusa — Hotel in Tokyo

The location, room and amenities are all great. Love the bathroom laundry drying function especially, we were able to do our laundry on daily basis, without having the inconvenience to wait for laundry to be done. Washing only took 30mins, and hang clothes to dry overnight in the bathroom. Every essentials was provided, but would be even better if a trash bin is provided to separate the recyclables, which was required by the hotel.||One thing that put us off was, we have booked 2 similar rooms as we went as 2 couples(4 pax). Upon arrival, the counter staff told us that actually both rooms cost differently, as higher floor commanded a higher rate(almost JPY 6000 higher). This is the first time I encountered hotel room charges differently based on floor level, when similar rooms model/size were booked. The staff suggested we split the cost equally among us, but it left a bad taste as one couple will actually be paying more for the other couple. This left us in a very awkward situation, at the start of a vacation.||Another thing that happened on our last night, was that next door guest banged very hard on the wall, and shouting for us to "shut up", when I was only having a video call. I have no idea the walls were so thin, as I have not noticed any noise or activities from outside throughout our 5 nights stay.||Overall it was still a great choice,...
