A fun hidden spot inside Tokyo Station, worth the adventure! We started our day in Ginza and decided to explore a bit more one of the things I love about Tokyo is how much you can see within a short 5–20 minute walk. We eventually made our way to Tokyo Character Street, hidden underground in the maze of historic Tokyo Station. My 14-year-old son, who loves anime (Naruto, Demon Slayer, One Piece, and a few others I can’t even remember right now), really wanted to check this place out.

While he’s not a big trinket collector (yet), he really enjoyed seeing all the cool items, touching things, and just experiencing the atmosphere. It was fun just watching him explore. Loved it!! This area can get quite crowded, due to its popularity, as well as the fact that it is a hallway that connects train lines. There can be lines to get into certain stores, but that works to its advantage in some cases (if the line isn't too long), as it's nice to have a limit of customers in the store for you to really look around and not get pushed around. The stores I went to all sold wonderful items and official merch that looks better than at most places you'd find selling stuff of the type.
