Santinos Pizza — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This is not at all "authentic italian" like they say in front of the restaurant. We ate supposedly garlic bread, pizza and some pasta at the place. The pasta was nearly overcooked, absolutely limb, like no real Italian would eat, moreover, the sauce was not italian at all. The garlic bread was some kind of toast, and they gave us a sort of garlic sauce to dip the crust into it, so they could call it garlic bread on the menu. Last but not least, the "pizzas" were with thick crust, and almost no tomato at all. To be honest, I think that it is some frozen food they got from some supermarket and that they defrosted. The most scandalous part is the price. For five persons, it cost around 65 USD, which is, for such a poor quality, really overpriced. I recommend the fanta, because is not made in their kitchen.

No good quality/price relationship, expensive compared to other good restaurants in KL.

Caesar's salad was the worst ever tried, is not Caesar sauce, they use mayonnaise instead. Awful.

Pizza for sure doesn't have any similarity to Italian pizza, but I can understand because is Malaysia, anyhow, doesn't have enough tomato sauce, meats, sausages very poor quality.

Only good they have is the location, but you cannot abuse of tourism that bad, is good that you won't see your customers again, but at least do the effor to show a little quality and don't lie about the food you serve. You don't serve "Caesar salad" you serve lettuce and chicken...

While the food is tasty, especially after an hour-long excursion, it also carries with it the hefty tourist price tag. We bought 1 mid-sized pizza and 2 fresh fruity juices for almost RM 80. While this may be a steal for some people, it was definitely pricy as per my budget. There are much more economical places nearby. Atmosphere, the pricy restaurant with the city view within KL tower has similar prices but at least there's a view to that restaurant. Just for another comparison, for about RM 60 you can get a family bundle of 2 large and 2 mid-sized pizzas from PIzza Hut...
