I recently visited Moghul Mahal Restaurant hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but what I encountered was nothing short of a disaster. From start to finish, the buffet was a complete letdown.
Food Quality: The food quality was worst. Most of the dishes appeared stale and unappetizing. Even basic items like roti and rice were either overcooked to a mushy consistency or undercooked and hard. It looked like afternoon leftovers were served for night as well.
Variety: The variety was extremely limited. Despite advertising a wide selection, the buffet offered very few choices and was not worth the money.
Hygiene: Hygiene was another major issue. The tables and seating area were dirty, with crumbs and spills from previous diners. The serving stations were messy, and some of the utensils looked like they hadn't been cleaned properly. To make matters worse, I noticed a few flies around the food, which was highly off-putting.
Service: The service was equally disappointing. The staff seemed indifferent and inattentive. It took a long time to get a clean plate, and when I asked for assistance, the staff were unhelpful and rude. The line to the buffet was poorly managed and we had to wait longer to even get basic items like dal/curries.
Value for Money: Considering the poor quality and limited variety, the buffet was grossly overpriced. I felt cheated paying such a high price for a meal that was barely edible and certainly not enjoyable.
Overall: My experience at Moghul Mahal Restaurant was utterly disappointing. Poor food quality, lack of variety, unclean conditions, poor service, overcrowding, and high cost made for an incredibly unpleasant dining experience. I will not be returning, and I would advise others to avoid this place...
Read moreOrdered Garlic Naan, Kadai Chicken, Chicken Lollipop and Iced Lemon Tea. Got Pappad and diarrhea (later in the day) complimentary with it.
The first thing we received was the Iced Lemon Tea. It wasn't freshly made. Rather made from some powder mix I guess. Even had sediments at the bottom. The only reason I drank it was because I was very thirsty. My partner had one sip and decided she just couldn't drink it.
The Garlic Naan was funny. It had such a strong flavour of garlic that it felt that we were eating raw garlic with a slight flavor of naan. Never in my life have I had garlic naan with more pieces of garlic in it than you find in a grocery shop.
The chicken for both the lollipop and the Kadai Chicken was older than my grandmother. In some of the pieces, I could even see that the meat was grey in colour. We basically left everything unfinished, paid the bill and left.
Both me and my partner suffered with stomach pain and diarrhea the rest of the day. In fact I typed out this review while I was sitting in the bathroom for the nth time🙄
The only positives I found: The Pappad was really good Service was pretty quick The food "looks" good The gravy for the Kadai Chicken was tasty. The AC was pretty cool and relaxing for the...
