Pizza Hut Valletta — Restaurant in Valletta

We went to Pizza hut with out family at valletta outlet. After booking we waited until they had a table available. It was understanding that we had to wait as it was busy. When we went in and given a table, this wasnt even cleaned.

After 15 mins waiting we had to draw their attention so that we are given the menus. Then we had to wait another 15 min or more to have the order taken.

We then uad to wait long again so that we get our drinks and ones again we went to remind them that the drinks havent been serves yet. When they came with the wine glasses these where all dirty and they still had wine in then of previouse customers and one of them even lipstick. When we advised them they said sorry and too them back, and waited agin another 5 to 10 mins to get the glasses changed.

When after more then 45 min the food arrived, they didnt even get us any cuttlery or plates. When i went to ask for plates they said they had to get, and waited again for around another 5 mins.

I understand that sometimes something could go wrong, but this was a total disaster and terrible service.

Beleive it or not when we asked for the bill, we had ones again to wait allot until we het the bill. Finally one of the waiters came with the bill without a pouch or tray and handed the bill rudely.

I know that one shiuldnt expect much from such places, but this was totaly a disaster and I think the place needs good restructuring in ther personnel.

Hope someone would spend some time to read this and try to do something about it and maybe improve a bit...

A little bit disappointed with the overall service. First of all, arrived at the restaurant at about 7.30 pm with people already waiting outside. We waited for a table for about 10/15 minutes. A very nosy party of 5 decided that they had just been promoted to the restaurant manager, and got in before us and had to sit before us too. Anyways, we were shortly after sitting at a table, where it took another 15 minutes to take our order. The other 3 people working at the restaurant could not take our order, and could only point to another lady who only she could take our order (p.s. they did not even tell the waitress that we would like to order). Of course, she did not have a sense of order, and whoever called her before was ordering. To cut a long story short after speaking directly to the waitress and after a few comments that they were very busy, we managed to get our order. Apart from that, the food was good as always.

Note to managers - during such busy times, it is impossible for 1 person to just take orders. There should be more staff at the restaurant, and if 1 person is not enough to take orders, staff should at least be able to take orders and not just deliver food to the table. Holiday seson is always busy and restaurant should be equipped...

The food was up to standard as usual, however we were quite disappointed with the service. As soon as I finished my last slice of pizza the staff member came to collect the dishes, with my wife still having a slice on her plate. We said 'o.k. it's a fast food restaurant'. However in about 2/3 mins after taking the dishes, we were presented with the bill (without requesting) - maybe we wanted to order a coffee or finish our drinks in a calmer manner. Soon after presenting the bill he came with the epos machine for payment. I sarcastically asked whether they will be closing soon (this was 3/3.30pm), and the waiter did not take the message, he just smiled and said 'no'.
