Mahi Mahi — Restaurant in San Miguel de Cozumel

When in Mexico, tacos, tequila and cervesa!!! We found the perfect spot! It's a little place but don't let that fool ya! Some delicious fresh pico and homemade chips. The Mahi tacos were delicious and HUGE...and the pork tacos were just as good !! If you like a little spice in your life, get some of their avocado and homemade salsa! Both have a little heat, but compliment the tacos perfectly. Last and definitely not least, the strawberry margaritas and Local Montejo beer was definitely the right choice. Dont get me wrong, the food was really good but when it was time to pay the waitress came up to us and told each of us that it was going to be $34 per person even though that wasn't the correct amount shown on the menu. Mine was supposed to be $27. I gave her $40 meanwhile i processed that it should've not been $34. She was going to keep the rest of the change and when i went to go ask her she was very defensive. It was never about the money but the principle of taking advantage...

Unfortunately the seafood platter... although priced to make you think it would be excellent at $80 USD for the platter with 3 coronas, it was really, really bad. The crab was so burnt you couldn't get any meat out, the tortillas were stale and hard around the edges, the octopus rings were slimy and tasted fishy, the list goes on.
