Shore City Shopping Centre — Attraction in Devonport-Takapuna

Having the New World metro has been such a great addition. My favourite is the Buns and Rolls inside Shore City. They make the best rice paper rolls and slow cooked pork bao buns. There's a little play area that could be better, but not bad for the kids to be entertained for a bit. During the school holidays they put on various activities for the kids that are free which is very kind. The Farmers there always has good specials and the Whitcouls has finally got a good spot rather than hidden at the back corner. There's a posh Cafe which is situated right by the toilets (🤢) downstairs. Seems busy all the time, but personally it's over priced and the baking could be better or cooked through, but could've been a one off. I've dined there on several occasions and have never really found the cost of food matched the quality (or lack) of food. The service though is excellent! Two nail salons seems a bit of an overkill, but probably good for competition. This seems like a good mall for it's size especially with a Les Mills at the rooftop. The shopping caters to all, mostly women like most malls, but more men's shops would be nice. I can tell they're trying their best to make improvements and attract more people and it's encouraging to see more and more people are going here. New renos look great, love all the indoor plants although they need extra care so the leaves don't brown. Another added bonus is the 3hr free...

Espresso Carwash Shorecity - This was one of the worst experiences. I have had with a company. Firstly I called to book and someone who could not speak English answered and could not even book me in. I called a week later as I had a voucher that I needed to use for this particular branch. Secondly when I purchased the Grabone Voucher I was assuming that I was getting the discount. However, when I arrived I realized that the price is exactly the same so a major rip off for something purchased on Grabone. Further to this for the very high price I expected a good clean. Considering my car was purchased new a few months prior to this clean it was a a very tidy state and I wanted the little details clean for it too look extra nice. Instead I had to ask the guy to keep touching things up until I was uncomfortable and just left. The inside front window was in such a bad state I literally had to clean it when I got home as the guy has smugged it so bad. The inside consul was dripping with oil, the back door was not even clean, the window in general were done very very badly. I am very unhappy with this service and will not...

Wife and kids like to shop here . Nice kids play area , but one start less for too many screens in the play area . In December , there is a lovely Christmas display , and a beautiful tree too .

There's a new mc Donald's here too . And lots of cafeterias too ,so you can't go hungry .

If you've got kids , there is a ramp with mirrors that they will like . There's toilets here too , and it's all indoors , so no rain coats . It can get pretty busy here , so for not busy woman , weekdays are just perfect .

They sell clothes here , fix watches , and at Christmas they have Santa Magic ! Baby parking too , if you need it. ( very handy ) .

The music isn't too loud and the adds don't make a sound . But the hand driers are very noisy : no hand towels .
