On Sunday mornings and if it's a lovely day. We would go here as often as we could for our vegetables and meat. They have a delicious bacon place here and we absolutely love the taste. Guarantee we would buy a $5 or $10 pack to take home an order a sneaky $6 bacon an egg sandwich. Especially if we have guest over for breakfast this is our go to place . The vegetables are fresh and a lot cheaper then getting it at the supermarket which we live 5mins away from. I would also get a bottle of fresh juice, they have reusable bottles and if you reuse your bottle it's a little bit cheaper. Go reusable :) My partner would also buy his cookies here $2.50 you get 15 in a pack for his lunch or for the kids to have a snack on. He would also get a $1.50 can drink and a kebab for the kids at the caravan close to the bus stop.We would spend $30 and leave satisfied. They also have a little park there so we would allow the kids to play. If your a seafood lover as well they sell middle fritters and whitebait fitters, there is also a truck that sells fresh fish :) please do go...
Read moreI visited the market during winter, the best time to arrive is around 8.30am when the stalls are set up and before the crowd comes. Located at the car park area next to the bus station, and adjacent to the Burger King, a shopping mall, and streets lined with lively businesses, shops and restaurants. Prices are reasonable, fruits and veges can be cheaper and fresher than supermarket's. Plenty of breakfast, and steaming hot street food options. A number of stalls are run by Asians (e.g. Chinese), such as those selling groceries and food that are more suitable for Asian visitors. Other notable goods that can be found are e.g. honey products, clothes, body accessories, cosmetics, organic foodstuff, baked and fried foods, fresh fish and seafood, souvenirs and pre-loved knick knacks, flowers and potted plants, etc. Good vege stalls at the middle of the market, and a stall selling lots of fruits at cheap price...
Read moreLovely Atmosphere and Great Artisan Finds! A really pleasant Sunday market with a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere. It's set up along a modern paved walkway which is lovely to stroll through. There's a great selection of stalls selling all sorts of artisan goods and unique items. I saw lots of beautiful handmade jewellery, pet accessories, plants, and more, alongside several tempting food stalls. It's worth noting that, at least during my winter visit, there weren't many fresh vegetable stalls, so it's perhaps more of a craft and food market at this time of year. For parking, I was lucky to find a spot on Hurstmere Road, but be aware that it has time limits. If you plan on staying for a while to explore, you might want to look for a car park with longer-stay options. The location is excellent, with plenty of coffee shops nearby to grab a drink or breakfast. Overall, a great way to spend a...
