The most advanced Shopping Complex being constructed in New Zealand!. There are over 200+ shopping stores confirmed for the next few openings. Today’s opening store counts to 40 store possibilities. There are two blocks of 3 levels structure in construction. The first block is magnificently incredible based on architectural appeal, products appeal, services appeal, and most of all very ‘user friendly’. The entire construction comes with a Sky-bridge in between. There is a roof top section which will take your breath away.. by the way this complex has an advanced parking system. Download the Westfield+ app and sign up. This will allow you to be a member of the complex. As a member: if you come in before 6pm you get free 2 hour parking without receipt if you leave within 2 hours - it incorporates car license plate electronic control to record your incoming. This means it can allow you to leave when it detects your plate in memory. If you come after 6pm: free till closing hour. If you are not a member you pay by the time you are detected into the parking entry before 6pm and after 6pm till it closes.

The guy behind these parking meters was extremely rude! The car park was a disaster today. Then we got stuck at the queue trying to exit the car park. It was not moving AT ALL. So, after some time, we decided to just go back inside the mall. Tried again at 8PM only to realise they are charging us $45! Pressed the help button and after explaining what happened the guy didn't agree and said a bunch of things but what really pissed me off was when he said, "if you stayed in the queue, you wouldn't pay that much". Then saying he can reduce the fee to $25 as if I owe it to him. Now, I understand the traffic was not his fault but saying that we should have stayed in the queue the entire time was very insensitive and shows unawareness of how bad the situation was. See, people were angry! A lot of people complaining to the ground staff about the situation. There were families with kids who were stuck in their cars. We switched to another exit gate and the other staff let us go but only after a long explanation.

Such a disappointment to watch a long movie (3hrs plus including previews) here and had to pay $15 upon exit. We were given 4hrs free but there wasn't enough time for a cuppa and having to arrive 30min prior for collecting our movie tickets. We entered at 2.10pm and thought we should be alright to exit around 7pm since it's free after 6pm, but only found out later that it is only if we enter after 6pm! In other words, if you drive here for a movie before 6pm, do not attempt stupid things like having a meal or coffee, or shopping here, or you'll have to pay a price for having extra fun. Too bad our day started with excitement but ended up with frustrations. 😣 (Mar 2022) Car parking entrance is at Clovernook Road. Download Westfield Plus app to enjoy 2hrs of free parking, and so after 6pm. Though only a handful of shops are opened so far, it's still nice to stroll in this pretty mall and have a cuppa. Way to go, Westfield Newmarket! 😉 (Aug 2019) We forgot about time while shopping there today and our free parking time exceeded 10min. The officers were really friendly and waived the fees. If only they knew we've spent nearly a thousand dollars there today, they'll be pleased they didn't let us off for nothing. 😀 (Jul 2020)

Newly opened Newmarket mall didn’t quite disappoint. A lot of light, huge and clean spaces, catching designs and very beautiful rooftop solution. About 50% of shops aren’t open yet, but most of the restaurants welcome people already and are quite full on weekend. Although you can get almost everywhere with a pram, I wouldn’t take it with me next time, lifts are way too slow and some of them don’t even go where you need but this is the only way you can navigate through the mall on wheels. I also couldn’t find a parent room, where babies could play and mothers could feed, that’s a sad part, but there are changing rooms and toilets on almost each floor though. There is also a whole playground at the rooftop, what a fun! Can’t wait for more shops to be opened, will definitely come back soon.

Newmarket Westfield, you were an eye opener to how great a designer Westfield hired to come up with this great establishment. The rooftop dining is by far my favorite, so many choices to choose from you could pretty much do a restaurant crawl and dine on different cuisine from around the globe. We had a fantastic time. Even though we were only here for the dining experience, we loved the art works that are around and the cool app that you can download eyeflash which brings so of the art works to life which truly blew.my mind because I have never seen art in this way before. Congrats for installing high quality art works. Love this place and look forward to visiting again. Keep up the good work team new market Westfield
