You may also visit the main church to hide away from the busy Khaosan Road and have your moment here. It is not AC but there are fan that you can turn on to cool off body. And please be reminded, just Be humble and discreetly quiet, well behave is appreciated. No super short shorts, No sleeveless top, No any of drugs/alcohol.

The title of this temple’s translation is the temple of war winning, as it was built under the royal patronizing of the younger brother of the King Rama 1, who was one of the greatest warriors.

Despite the busy vibe of Khao Sarn Road area, once visitors get in the temple, you can separate yourselves from the active environment out there.

There is also the bathroom for public too. Also there is an appropriate dress code suggestion that visitors are require to cover your top part of body (a tanktop will need to cover up abit more, longer pants or skirt are ideal.

There are public bathroom for people with a cleaning bidet, visitors need to walk inside on the right of the main church. The sign of bathroom is there to be seen.

If you are happy with the temple services, please leave some Baht as appreciating donation for Temple to pay forward. Thank...

Wat Chana Songkhram is a peaceful gem in the heart of Bangkok, and visiting it was truly a beautiful experience. We spent some quiet time sitting and meditating in the serene temple grounds, soaking in the calm and spiritual energy of the place. One of the most special moments for us was offering a small gift to a monk and sharing that we were recently married. In return, the monk kindly chanted blessings for our future together and tied a white sacred thread around our wrists, a meaningful and memorable gesture we’ll always treasure. The entire experience felt very personal, warm, and uplifting. It’s not just a place to visit, it’s a place to feel, reflect, and connect. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a deeper cultural and spiritual experience in Bangkok.
