Terrible Experience at Panda Spa & Massage [熊猫按摩店]

I love getting massages, but my experience at Panda Spa & Massage was by far the worst I’ve ever had. It was a long and painful two hours that I wish I could forget.

First, the environment was completely wrong for relaxation. There was no soothing music, and the lights were way too bright, making it impossible to feel comfortable. It felt more like a clinic than a spa.

But the real nightmare started with the therapist assigned to me—No. 11 (if I remember correctly). The first 30 minutes were pointless; I barely felt anything despite trying to relax. When I politely asked for more pressure, things took a turn for the worse. For the next one and a half hours, he used nothing but brute force, making it feel like torture instead of therapy.

On top of that, his movements were rough and careless—every time he adjusted my posture, it felt rushed and forceful, as if he was just going through the motions without any concern for my comfort. Instead of leaving feeling refreshed, I walked out aching and regretting ever coming here.

I would not recommend this place to anyone who truly appreciates a good massage. There are far better options in Bangkok where therapists actually listen to your needs and provide a relaxing experience....

WORST Massages I EVER EXPERIENCED!!! I have gotten numerous massages all throughout Bangkok as I frequently visit thai area of Asia. First and foremost when I arrived to this establishment they didn’t even cleanse my partner & I’s feet which as in many and all asia establishments is uncommon so I found that strange, but didn’t think much of it. Fast forward to getting the massage the ladies who perform them were very rough as they used excessive amounts of oil and only focused on 2 body parts even tho me and my partner paid for for a all over body massage. We both felt as they purposefully made the massages we received to be as painful and uncomfortable as possible to discriminate against us. The best and funniest part was that they treated us with little to no respect upon exiting as we were rude. As we were leaving we observed that a couple of which was of asian descent and lighter skin was greeted with open arms as the workers were only accommodating to them but also pampering them in a way in which we weren’t such as being cleansed. I had a massage nearby and it wasn't satisfactory so I googled for another one nearby and found this place with a rather high rating so decided to give it a try. Walked in and the place looks pretty clean. Went to the counter and told the lady I wanted an hour body massage she couldn't understand much English. Thank god it was available immediately and I asked for a male masseur and one was also readily available. He male masseur gave me a scrub on my feet then brought me up to the second floor to a room for massage. I was worried they would use oil for massage and I didn't like those. Thankfully they made me change into their clothes so the massage was done fully clothed without applying anything on the body. The male masseur who did my massage was rather okay with varying soft and hard touches. I wanted to ask him to massage harder but I let him be and it was still overall decent and managed to relieve some aches of my muscles.
