Deeply disappointed by the security contractors used by this pub, outside the Manchester Arms at 1614 on Monday afternoon one of their staff swearing loudly whilst unloading their work vehicle into the pub. The other snorted and spat out a load of phlegm from behind the car almost hitting myself and my family. He was also smoking a joint. Spent time in here on New Year's eve and it was very busy with a good lively atmosphere, we decided to move on elsewhere and after getting to where we went my wife realised she had left her handbag hanging on the chair she had been sat on 🤦 I ran back to Manny Arms and asked the two girls behind the bar if they had seen it, which they had and had kept it safe along with all its contents behind the bar. Dog friendly and child friendly. This place is what you expect of a pub, warm and cosy feel to it. The male bartender was friendly and approachable, but each of our group where made to feel a tad uncomfortable with one of the bar staff constantly handing out stern looks. Others where drinking beer and it looked fairly flat, maybe we popped on the wrong day and they where at the bottom of the barrel.
