The Orme Traditional Fish & Chips — Attraction in Great Britain

Possibly the worst Steak and kidney pudding, chips and gravy I’ve ever had the mis-fortune to purchase, and also the most expensive too… £9.80 for (above) and a bottle of pop! If you like frozen chips, and your steak and kidney pudding “microwaved” then this is the place for you! And I quote from the guy serving “I’ve never had pudding, what is it? Well at least I know how to cook it!” Do yourselves a favour pass on by next door to kings kebab house next door and get yourself a large cheesey chips… 100 times better and literally half the price! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Wish I’d have read the reviews before going in!

Even 1 star is too much for this place!

The lad who served us looked like he'd rather be anywhere than there! The price, I can slightly understand, because of it's location but the quality of the food; disgusting! Raw, yes raw, chips in the tiniest box for £2.80 and a server who looked like he was chewing a wasp with about as much customer service as a rock. If you don't like your job (or serving females) then do something about it! Taking a can of pop and disappearing into the back to drink it whilst cooking food isn't exactly what you want to see in a food establishment.

Avoid this place like the plague and instead use the fish and chip place located at the entrance of the pier. The fish is cooked perfectly, chips are cooked perfectly and the service is faultless, unlike like this...

went here as it was the only halal fish and chips we could find. was abit sceptical due to the previous reviews but we went anyway to try and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the food was. the staff were friendly and the food was fresh. the portion sizes were good (fish was big) and served with a lemon which gave it a nice kick. after our first visit, we went again jusy because of how nice it was. they had both inside and outside seating area, the place was nice and clean. I think it was £24.40 for 2 fish and chips and 2 large curry sauces which is pretty good price, especially since the portion sizes were good. id definitely recommend and go here again on my next...
