My partner, friends and I went for a day trip to Plymouth. After a big lunch, shopping trip, we craved a bubble tea! We always go to Mr Wok for our bubble tea, however we were walking through Drake Circus and found Bubble CiTea. The staff member was bubbly (sorry that pun was needed) smiley and very welcoming! We had to do a couple errands so we popped back 10 minutes later. The staff member talked us through the combinations, the pearls/bubbles as well as the jelly extras. My goodness, I haven't seen a variety like this outside of London! It took us ages to choose as all the flavours sounded delicious! I chose a milk melon tea with Apple pearls, my partner a lychee tea with strawberry pearls and my mate got a Apple on Apple pearls with Apple jelly. The staff member gave us a stamp card with a stamp each, absolutely amazing idea! Defiantly makes me want to get more! The teas are some of the best bubble teas I have ever had! Incredible taste, not to bitty and the pearls were amazing! I am blown away how delicious the tea was. I will defiantly recommend to any bubble tea lovers out there! This is the best tea I have had in devon, even maybe my favourite tea I have ever had! The staff were amazing and it's very...
Read moreI used to love ordering here and getting it delivered when I was busy home studying. But recently when you order you can’t order boba pearls. I just don’t see the point of ordering boba tea without the boba pearls. It’s not the same with crystal bubble or popping bubbles. Not sure why they have recently stopped this. You can’t even phone the number as it’s disconnected (may 7 23). Maybe it was just this day the phone not working but it’s been a few weeks and boba is still not available. We found the Taiwanese boba tea place really good. 1983 or something it’s called ....

Both were large so maybe the regular size isnt as bland? Guessing they just top up the large size with water/milk and dont add extra syrup diluting the flavor? Compared to an authentic Taiwanese boba shop that uses fresh ingredients and not just pre-made syrups/powders it just fails to cut it. Service was very fast and staff was friendly but paying £6 for a bit of watery squash with popping bubbles just...
