The original fountain was erected where the newish fountain is now located called “from the ashes.” Mr. Hurt was the dreamer and constructor of Inman Park, Druid Hills, and the impetus for the majority of downtown Atlanta’s footprint. I’m glad that the park was redesigned, and constructed perfectly for the area. Right on the campus of GSU, so plenty of students can be seen utilizing the space throughout the school semester.
