La Belle Buckhead Nail Bar — Attraction in Atlanta

Ok let me start from the beginning with my first experience and my second and last experience with this place and why it should be avoided at all cost. Okay, my condo is a block from this place so I walked over to give them a try two weeks ago. I use to go to the nail place that was here before La belle so I was happy to finally be able to walk and get my nails done again. After getting my nails done on the first visit the woman handed me the machine to pay saying that I was being charged an extra $20 for colored powder on top of the $20 I was already being charged for gel polish. Now when I went in there I had already had nails on and they were lifting so the tech suggested I take them off and get a new set. I understood and got a new set. I never requested him to use a certain powder so I just assumed he would be using the normal powder people get for a new set considering the fact he knew I was getting gel polish with no designs prior to the take off. I told the cashier that’s not my problem I had no idea about any colored powder. She claimed that she wasn’t going to charge me this time, but I believe she still did because the amount I paid suggested that the charge was there.

I like how swiftly my nail tech worked and how precise he was so I went back two weeks later this time I got a fill in with gel and a spa pedicure with gel. The pedicure with gel here is not very good and there are other spas that you can get more bang for your buck. For $56 on a pedicure you don’t get a mask, hot towel, callus removal absolutely nothing.

Once again when I was getting my nails filled the tech pulled that color powder again, but this time I was aware and he told me he wasn’t going to charge me. After my services I get to the pay out counter and there’s an extra $12 charge I asked what is this for and the lady said it’s for extra length on your nails. I’m like you have got to be joking I came in here with this length and shape it’s the same as last time. The lady says it’s because they use more polish on my nails. Keep in mind it DND gel polish is $8 a bottle and the entire website is normally 40% off right now they are running a $5 bottle sale but it will go back to 40% after it’s over. I know about this because I have been contemplating doing my own gel polish since January because of this foolishness with nail shops and have frequent their site quite often.

This place is very sneaky at adding extra charges to your bill towards the end of service. So please pay attention to everything. And ask about the price of everything before you get started. I went here twice and both times they were doing weird things with the bill. And when you ask them about it they try and act innocent. I will not be coming back here. I don’t like having to go through hoops about added charges that are hidden until you are about to pay. I’m sure they do this to every customer that comes in trying to push tickets...

Came her on my Bday last week (Aug 6), with my bestie who was treating me. She had mentioned this place to me before, but she lives in Buckhead and I live by the airport so it isn't that convenient to me. But today I wasn't to give it a try (since she was treating..lol) When you walk in it looks so clean and white, and very organized. and it didn't have that acrylic smell that a lot of nail shops have, so I was quite pleased. The host that greeted us (Diane) she was great and really patient with us as we picked out our colors. They give you a basket with all the nail color samples. It was so many to choose from I got tired of looking..lol I was gonna do different color on my hands than my toes, but the just said eff it and stuck to the colors on my toes for my nails.

When we sat down we were offered wine(they only had white pinot gregio), soda, juice or water, which I thought was awesome. I did wish they had a choice of something like a Prosecco and maybe a red blend wine. I really don't like white wine that much, but I drank it nonetheless since it was my Birthday. My pedi and gel mani was great. I had a guy do my nails and a woman on my feet that both were great. I hate I can not remember their names but I definitely know their faces, so when I go back I will use them. The guy who did my nails was superb, he was detailed and took his time, and was very gentle which I appreciated. He didn't knick me not once and that is rare. I feel like I always get nicked b/c some ppl can be too aggressive or moving too fast. The young lady who did my nails (I think was Mila) she was gentle as well. took her tie and was also very detailed. I loved it. B/c for me I am a licensed nail tech so I pay attention to how other techs work and how they care for the customer. And these two were excellent.

Everyone was really nice and Diane was just a great host refilling our drinks and just making sure we were good. I truly enjoyed my time here, and found out there is a location that is a bit closer to me, so I am gonna check them out and hopefully they are just as welcoming and nice and do...

I needed to have a spa day for myself this weekend. I decided to visit La Belle Buckhead Nail Bar. This nail bar is absolutely stunning. The high ceilings and beautiful hand painted art on the walls is fabulous. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted and asked what service I would need. I was escorted to the receptionist desk to check in and select my services. I then went to the wall to select a polish. After I stood there, a little overwhelmed by so many beautiful colors– I was directed to an area behind me with more options. This polish was vegan and had a fast dry feature, I was sold… I picked my color and I was guided to my chair. I was offered a beverage as I put my belongings away. I declined and decided to wait patiently for my nail technician. My technician (Mary) came out with a calm spirit and ready to be of service to my needs. She allowed me to share what I wanted and I the sat quietly and allowed her to work her magic. I was not ready for what transpired. Mary blessed me beyond belief… I have never had anyone take as much care and attention to my hands and feet. Her technique for massaging my feet and legs was phenomenal. My eyes were closed and I fell into a meditative state. My soul is restored from a long week. I feel like I have new feet.
