Moved this year. Called to get my tax amount to pay. Rep did not help me at all. Got a huge attitude when I questioned her. Told me I had to call some other number to change "my address" which she gave me that was never MY address but the seller's. Did not listen. Got VERY HOSTILE. Soooo typical, Atlanta: rude, limited, angry civil servant. Why does Atlanta make everything so difficult and user unfriendly? It's ALWAYS a problem, am I right? Website search boxes don't work. Ill informed employees, no answer to the phone call, they closed early... Never easy. I am just trying to pay you! So frustrating.
UPDATE! Closing attorney was able to send me right away, a link to see my bill and pay. Would that have been so hard Tax Office? Don't bother with "Full of Themselves County"....

I just feel they are unwilling to accept any lower taxes in their pockets and want to drag the issue as much...

I have been told that we use a computer program, but then no we don't, we use linear regression, but then no we don't, it is more of an art then a science, but that would violate OCGA and DOR requirements, etc - basically after more than 100 Open Records Requests, the Assessor's Office still cannot tell me or explain how they establish property valuations. Accordingly they get ZERO stars for service and NOT the one star that I HAD to add to...
