I can’t say enough good things about Azalea Fresh Market—it’s finally the fresh, vibrant spot our community has been craving for years. Tucked right in the heart of Atlanta, this location is perfect; it’s in an area where quality grocery options have been sorely lacking, and now we don’t have to trek across town for decent produce or staples. It’s like a breath of fresh air (pun intended) for locals who want convenience without compromise. The food selection is outstanding—seriously top-tier quality from every aisle. The produce section bursts with vibrant, farm-fresh fruits and veggies that actually taste like they were picked that morning, not shipped from who-knows-where. Their bakery has the flakiest pastries, the meat counter offers premium cuts with no skimping on marbling or flavor, and even the international aisle has an impressive array of spices and imports that rival big-city markets. Everything feels thoughtfully curated, with organic options galore and zero filler items cluttering the shelves. What really sets them apart, though, is the staff. Everyone from the cashiers to the department leads is incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful—like chatting with neighbors who know their stuff. They take the time to answer questions without rushing you, making the whole shopping experience feel welcoming and personal. And shoutout to the security team—they’re absolute pros who keep everything running smoothly and safely. It’s reassuring to see the store investing heavily in security measures, from well-trained guards patrolling the lot to visible cameras; it shows they truly care about protecting shoppers, staff, and the community. In a world where that’s not always a given, it makes me feel confident bringing my family here. If you’re in Atlanta, do yourself a favor and swing by—you won’t be disappointed. This place is a...
Read moreI’m writing this review from a parent’s perspective after my daughter, a GSU student, had a terrifying experience at Azalea Fresh Market the other night. She went there to shop, but the surrounding area is overrun with homeless people, drug users, and even more dangerous types—it's a real hazard zone that no young woman should navigate alone. After she finished shopping and headed out, a sketchy guy approached her aggressively, threatening to harm her and demanding she have sex with him. My heart breaks thinking about how vulnerable she felt in that moment. Thank God your security guard was vigilant—he spotted the harassment from afar, rushed in, and intervened before things escalated into something truly horrific. He deserves massive recognition and praise for his quick action; without him, who knows what could have happened to my daughter. He was a heavyset Black man in a black uniform marked "Shadow Group," and she thinks he mentioned his name might be Donna Harris (or something close—please confirm and honor him publicly!). Thank you for investing in security like this—it's a lifeline for students like my daughter who need a safe spot to grab essentials. I wish the Atlanta Police would step up and do more to patrol and clean up this area, but they seem too busy taking selfies instead of keeping people safe. Honestly, this neighborhood is way too risky; I urge you to ramp up your security presence even more to protect our kids from these threats. Parents, be warned...

I never knew that a grocery store could make me so happy. Genuinely happy/excited for Azalea to be a part of the community. I have heard nothing but positive statements about this place.
Statements ranging from, "The prices are affordable", to "They take safety and security very seriously", to "I am happy that they have late hours". All of the above comments may hold true. (Check for yourself.)
One of my favorite features is that they decided to also stock a few 'healthier' options, inclusive of plant-based and non-dairy.
The customer service is quite helpful and pleasant. It seems as if the representatives are, typically, cheerful and ready to assist or to answer questions. Double Kudos.
The security team is amazing and have great people skills. I have seen them in action. They are, indeed, professionals and do their job well.
I'm rooting for Azalea. I'm certain the neighborhood will support. Cheers to a continuous, prosperous rising of...
