I came here since 2017 and had a hard time transiting from Chinese food to American food/Americanized Chinese food. At the time, Liangpi is the only food can comfort my appetite. True authentic northern Chinese style.
Best food truck in west campus during the time I was at UT. Walking distance if you live in west campus.
5 years now, I had graduated and the couple has bring over their son to Austin. Though I don’t live around west campus any more and parking is hard, I came back often. Time files!

While we were waiting for our food, we saw so many other Chinese people get food here as well. The owner and his wife also speak Chinese. This is real, authentic Chinese food. Not the kung pao chicken/orange chicken type places that cater towards Americans. The roujiamo was so good and I'm definitely coming back for their liangpi (which always sells out by the end of lunch so make sure to order ahead of time if you're not coming during lunchtime) before I...
