I am sad to write this. I have been going there since 2017. It has slowly declined in staff turnover. The only person who does nails right is TOM. This was last weeks experience with someone I did not know. In all 25 years of having my nails done, this was by far, the worst. This is where I stopped her and said, ā€œI’m sorry, but please, stop.ā€ I also want to recognize that she did my feet and they look nice, but the ā€˜spa’ aspect was lacking. She barely messaged or scrubbed my feet, the water was cold and she didn’t let them soak at all, and I got the deluxe. She didn’t ask me if I wanted a drink. I finally asked for one cause I was so stressed out about the nails! They push for the higher sale, but don’t treat you with deluxe service. I made the reservation with the sweetest man who used to do a great job on my nails. He made me feel special and he made me laugh. He told me his name was Paul. I asked for him originally, but they insisted NO, he doesn’t do nails. Ummmm, well he did mine! Tom redid my nails and they looked great, but that poor guy was running around fixing everyone else’s mistakes that day. Sadly, the bill came. I normally spend around $100 for both nails and toes. I was charged $140. Tom voided the transaction, and charged the correct amount. I looked at my bank account and was charged $140…the original amount. I called about the charge. No one called me back. I spent 3 frustrating hours there that day. The lady made me feel bad, like it was my fault my nails looked like a 9 year old did them.Yet I still tipped 20%, cause I’m in the service industry. I guess my issue is that the talent and consistency is all over the map. I’ve had some AWESOME experiences here, and I’ve had horrible and at times painful experiences. I think I’ll spend my $100, sorry $140 somewhere else next time! I work hard for my money, and this was just ridiculous!

**UPDATE** Not only did they give me a hard time about my refund they have also RECHARGED my card a week later after issuing my refund. This terrible experience is now extended into a bank dispute. 0 Stars. I went yesterday and I will not be back. I try to be very easy going and I'm not a perfectionist. I paid and went outside and then started to see how sloppy, thick, uneven, and bubbly the nails were. I asked the tech Ly multiple times to get the red off my nails from my previous builder gel manicure off which was still visible on the new finished light purple manicure she did. The dremel she was using was dirty and hurt, she dripped the hard gel everywhere and got it on my fingers, which is toxic... I should have stopped her and asked for someone else or just walked out, it's so hard to speak up sometimes. It was NOT fun to walk back into the place and stand at the front to wait for someone to come talk to me. Then 4 girls walk over to me as I explain the issues, including the girl who did my nails. For me this is absolutely mortifying. I ask for a refund because I am out of time and need to get to my event. They inspect my nails, feel the bubbles, see the red, uneven edges, and overall SLOPPY work and say they will fix it (I don't want to be touched anymore at this point my nails kind of hurt) then they offer me a free manicure next time. I respectfully say I will not be coming back and ask again for a refund so I can go. It took a lot of convincing and I felt uncomfortable the whole time. I was a walk in and waited an hour to get seen, and I did not complain at all and I tipped $10. Maybe there are better techs available, seems like all the good reviews are one persons. This place did not feel safe, it was not an experience I want to repeat.

While I was in town, I desperately needed a manicure and pedicure. I called to make an appointment for a Sunday afternoon but I showed up 30 minutes early and they were able to get me in earlier than planned. Within the next 30 minutes they got flooded with walkins and people who had appointments so the staff seemed very overwhelmed but were working very hard. As I sat down to get a pedicure they showed me a menu of the various options and I got a deluxe pedicure. This included hot oil, a scrub, a hot stone massage, cuticle clean up, a foot massage, and callus remover. Of the woman who help me did a great job and really made my toes look great! I was moved to a different staff member, a gentleman this time, to do my manicure. I had very specific requests, meaning that I wanted to have my dip powder manicure and nail tips removed. But I didn’t want them to cut down my nails completely underneath. As I’ve been growing out my natural nails for the last five weeks, while waiting to get the dip redone. They had soaked off my nails old manicure while I was doing a pedicure, so by the time I sat down with the guy who did my nails they were ready to be safely removed. Not only did he do an excellent job he was very attentive to my request of what exactly I wanted to do. Help me find the right color. And he took his time, even though he is the manager of the salon, and was inundated with flooding of customers. I just wanted to thank the lovely staff for the great service and the last-minute appointment!

Really really disappointed with my visit today. I’ve come to this place pretty frequently because it’s so close to my house. I came in today wanting a simple white French tip with red hearts. To start off, my nail tech glued on nails that were a size or maybe even two too large, when I brought this to her attention she ā€œfixed itā€ with the nail file (it was not fixed. She should have just given me smaller nails but I guess didn’t wanna take the time to take them off and re glue new ones) After that, she starts shaping and the shape is ok to start out with. She started doing the dip on my nails and they were terribly crooked and not straight. I’ve never gotten dip before, only gel, so I thought maybe after buffing they’d be fixed, plus with the design I wanted, I thought the hearts would cover up most of her mistakes. The pinkish clear part of the nail on top of the nail bed is literally milky white. Also, as she kept filing, she literally filed 4 of my nails completely crooked. I was actually embarrassed after I left because they actually look silly now. Mind you I was going straight to work after getting my nails done. She also cut me TWICE with the file to where I started bleeding. It hurt so bad. And then she couldn’t do the design, even though it was just a simple heart, which okay that’s fine. So someone else came to do it. Well he had another guest at his chair, so he was understandably in a hurry. The design is a little sloppy, and I felt bad at the amount of times I have corrected them on my nails. I will say he has done my nails before and they looked awesome. But this time I wasn’t his client so I kind of understand that he couldn’t give me his full attention. At this point I just wanted to leave, I had been there since 3:15 and it was 4:10 at this point. I was still charged $80 which is so disappointing. I don’t mind paying for a good experience, and a good design and set of nails. But I had neither, I left with bleeding fingers and nails that look very very low quality. I already have an appointment somewhere else tomorrow to get them actually completely taken off because I was so devastated after I left today. I probably won’t visit here again. The people are very friendly and nice, which is why I left two stars, but I just can’t continue to pay that much for a...

I have mixed feelings about Organic Spa and Nails. The good - Diana did a nice job on my nails and I was pleased with how they turned out. Additionally, they have a ton of colors from which to choose and the salon seemed clean. The bad - you had better know exactly what you want before entering the salon or you’ll be sorry. This was my first experience with dip powder...I arrived a few minutes before my scheduled appointment and was rushed to pick out a powder. I explained that I was new to this and was going to a wedding and mentioned my dress and shoe color and asked for suggestions but essentially got nothing. I literally was looking at colors while Diane kept taking my hands to do the various steps. If she had just given me a few minutes to actually look at my options or if she had been helpful with offering actual suggestions I feel like the experience would have been better, especially because she had some great swatches of nail art she’d done...I had to ask to see them and asked questions and it was like I was inconveniencing her by asking about her work. I also asked for some bling and again when I asked for suggestions it was like she’d never had anyone ask that before. Don’t get me wrong, there are times when I know exactly what I want, but I feel like it was entirely reasonable to ask the nail tech what she’d suggest and expect to get some options. I don’t know if there was a slight language barrier or if this was just Diane’s personality. Finally, and I don’t think this is unique to this salon, but I did not think it was very hygienic to dip my nails into the actual jar of powder...admittedly I did not address this with the salon. I get they don’t want to waste powder but that was a definite turn off. I don’t live in Austin, so it’s unlikely I’ll return to this salon...but if I did, I’d probably give the salon another chance but book with a...
