After reading the great reviews from previous customers I decided to try Face Foundrie- Birmingham for their Microchanneling Powered by Procell treatment. I'm in my mid 40s and have signs of aging with fine lines around my eyes and mouth area, larger pores on my chin and nose, as well as lack of collagen. After reading up on this treatment it checked all the boxes for my skin concerns and had less down time than microneedling so I decided to try it. The treatment took about a hour. It was pretty painless, a little uncomfortable from the micro tips but totally bearable. I left slightly red faced but did expect that after reading up on the treatment. One day in and my face is no longer red. I'm going to try and not wear any makeup for as long as possible to keep my pores clean from the treatment. I've been staying hydrated as that is one of the post-treatment recommendations to achieve the best results. I'm very exited to see how my skin reacts to this over the next few days and weeks. I ended up purchasing the series of 3 package and will come back in about 5 weeks for my second round. My esthetician was Fiona. She was given wonderful reviews from other customers so I booked with her. Fiona was very thorough during each step explaining what she was applying and what it would do. She continuously asked if I was ok and comfortable. She went over my post care instructions and made sure I left feeling good. I would absolutely recommend Face Foundrie and Fiona for your next...

I went on my birthday and went for breakfast and shopping before and my technician had not removed any of my makeup or asked me to and just smeared it in with the facial. My eyes were stinging and I could barely open them. It was the furthest thing from relaxing you can imagine. The whole facial was just using this spray continuously that smelled like rubbing alcohol. 10 minutes prior to the time I had paid for I was standing at the front at the checkout. I brought my mom with me and she wanted her eyebrows and dermaplaning done and her technician decided to wax her brows after dermaplaning and her entire skin lifted and was damaged and she left the appointment with no apology, 2 band aids, and still paying for the entire treatment with a “your skin must be super thin.” My skin has never felt so dry and irritated and as soon as I got home I developed contact dermatitis all around my eyes (on my birthday) due to the products being pushed into my mascara and I spent my birthday at the dermatologist and was in no way able to leave the house after this. We paid $350 for this experience....
The worst experience ever, so unprofessional. I received a text yesterday telling me to arrive at 8:45am 15 minutes before my appointment. I arrive at 8:42 a worker is sitting in her car I walk inside. She comes in 2 minutes later does not greet me. Does not tell the esthetician I’m there, at 8:47am I began calling the phone number where they ignored 3 different calls. I then texted, no response. Why if I was told to arrive at 8:45 was I not greeted. Clearly it was because I’m black. I’m disgusted, I better not be charged for cancelling. I had to call in the back several times for the rude receptionist who should be at the front desk to come and tell me she has to contact her boss to confirm if my card would not be charged for cancelling and not spending my money here. What is your problem? You ruined my morning and made me feel unwelcome when I came to spend my money here. Do NOT come here if you are black or brown. No, I do not mean brown from being over tanned with tan spray or a tanning bed. Look at the women who left 5 star reviews. This was supposed to be a relaxing experience. Just overall shocked. I meant to write from my...
