FOOD POISONING! AND ZERO FOLLOW-UP ONCE REPORTED! DO NOT GO!
I took my work team out for a lunch here earlier this week as a bit of a celebration and dropped multiple hundreds of dollars paying for everyone's lunch. I had a prosciutto and pesto pizza and others on my team had a variety of other meals (one other person had a pizza, but hers was a different variety, with soppressata on it). Everything tasted fine - not superb, but a solid B. But within 2 hours of finishing lunch, I was having very significant stomach pain and nausea. Soon thereafter, the more violent stage of stomach illness began; I'll spare the details, but it was both ends and I was VERY sick for about 12 hours. I reached out to my team and the other person who had pizza had also been ill shortly afterwards and overnight. I had only eaten one other thing that day that had very low chance of any food poisoning, and given that the other team member who had pizza ALSO got sick with sudden and 12-ish hour long stomach issues, there's basically no chance it was anything OTHER than food poisoning from the restaurant (and very consistent with timing and symptoms from food poisoning by staph aureus bacteria). Given that it was two different people who got sick from two different pizzas, I also strongly suspect we couldn't have been the only ones who were sickened by their food that day, which presumably had not been handled/stored/prepared in a way that was safe.
I called them the next day and reported it. I was polite, explained what happened, and gave them my contact information... but then NOTHING. Never called me back. Never apologized. No offer of refunds or anything. Nothing.
As someone who grew up in the restaurant business, it blows my mind that they wouldn't have taken this more seriously and honestly it can and SHOULD have major repercussions for a restaurant to serve food that is sickening people like this.
My takeaway: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO TO THIS RESTAURANT.
They clearly do not take their responsibility to serve safe food seriously and there are MANY other options nearby that serve food that is tastier, more affordable and of course, most importantly, WON'T MAKE YOU THROW UP...
Read moreThis restaurant truly impressed me from start to finish. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere feels special: the place is beautiful, with carefully chosen décor, a modern yet warm style that makes you want to stay and enjoy every corner. The lighting and background music create the perfect ambiance, whether you’re visiting as a couple, with friends, or even with family.
The service from Olena was absolutely exceptional. Beyond being professional and attentive, she made the whole experience feel personalized. She was detail-oriented, offered kind recommendations, and made us feel genuinely cared for—something that really makes a difference in a restaurant.
The food was on another level. We started with an appetizer of wings that were simply spectacular: juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection—honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The main courses arrived beautifully presented, generous in portion, full of flavor, and made with fresh ingredients that you could taste in every bite. You could truly feel the balance between quality, passion for cooking, and great attention to detail.
To finish the evening, the dessert was the cherry on top: delicious, delicate, and the perfect ending that leaves you wanting to come back.
In short, this restaurant has it all: a charming atmosphere, service that exceeds expectations, and unforgettable food. It’s one of those places that stays with you, and I know I’ll be returning more than once. Highly...
Read moreDecided to come here impulsively because it was near our hotel and we wanted espresso martinis. Brought our baby with us. The hostess thoughtfully asked if we wanted to keep him in his stroller, and then she showed us to a table where we could have the stroller next to us and not be in anyone's way. That meant a lot to me because I am always stressing about bringing the stroller! Our server Antonio was very warm. Food and drinks came out super fast. Great service.
The food was also awesome! I got the salmon poke and it was exactly what I hoped it would be, lightly dressed fish over sticky rice with a small smattering of greens. Also ordered the brussel sprouts, the miso yogurt is SOOOO GOOD! I think the maple sauce on the sprouts was a bit sweet for me, but paired with the savory/tangy yogurt, yeah, it was a winner. My husband got the clam chowder and he really enjoyed it. The espresso martinis were made with cold brew, not espresso, which might stress out the purists, but I found it balanced, not too sweet. I was also stoked to see a caparinha on the menu, it was also great.
Really enjoyed the vibe, it was noisy enough that I didn't feel worried if my baby fussed, but it wasn't so loud you couldn't have a conversation. Patrons were a mix of other families with kiddos, people out with friends, on dates. My husband liked the height of the booth. Baby also enjoyed himself. Overall it exceeded my expectations. Thanks for a...
