We booked two shows, a light display, and a hotel room almost a week before our arrival. The Dixie stampede showed available tickets at the time of our booking. Our other show showed tickets available at the time of booking. The hotel did not show either way. That night Branson tourism contacted us and told us the hotel was not available and we had to change to another hotel. Throughout the whole week we constantly called trying to get confirmation of the shows in the hotel room, but we received the runaround every time. Finally the day before we leave we call them multiple times and I am far mass that one of our shows was not available, That was our primary show to see while we were in Branson. I question him as to why we could not get tickets because there were tickets available when we booked the reservation with Branson tourism, but the lady told me that the shows waited until that Friday, Five days later, to inform them of ticket availabilities. I consider this a very poor business practice on behalf of Branson tourism, if it was not a blatant lie. Needless to say I would never use these people to set up your arrangements. You really do not receive a discount either. You will have to wait forever to get your confirmations and you might not even get the shows that you're actually wanting to attend when you could buy the tickets on your own. Also, just so you know I won't throw a sales pitch for timeshares on you when you pick up your tickets and it will postpone you buy Nother 10 minutes at least just to get away from them. Do not use...
Read moreMy husband and I live about an hour and a half from Branson. At the end of September we met my parents and two of my siblings and their spouses, who live in Texas, for a couple of days. Branson has something for everyone, and doesn't disappoint. My family had purchases tickets to see David at Sight and Sounds theater before coming north, but my husband and I didn't decide to join them until the last minute. We purchased tickets on Wednesday for the 3:30 show on Friday, through branson.com, for an amazing price I might add. On Thursday my husband was feeling fine, but wasn't able to sleep due to stomach issues. The situation got progressively worse on Friday to the point that we decided to head home to see his doctor. On the way out of town we stopped at the branson.com office to see if we could gift the tickets to someone on the street, thinking there was no way we could get our money back. I walked up to Donnie Huffman's window and explained the situation asking about gifting the tickets. He walked to another person and talked a minute then got on the phone for another minute. When he returned to me, he told me they were refunding the entire amount. That's when the tears started and I knew I would purchase all of my Branson tickets from branson.com from here on out. Thank you Donnie for your kindness and understanding. I hope to be back soon for more...
Read morePretty sure this is the place we went. Years ago went to another one that eventually got us screwed with Westgate. This one said we only had to stay for a 120 minute presentation. We said one of our two special needs kids will probably flip out before thats over, would we still get our tickets? They said yes. We sat through the whole one on one meeting, argued the same points repeatedly with different people telling them we cant travel far because of these kids. They tried to make us feel like we didn't want to better our lives, and then the part that really made me want to post this came. The sales man, Sippy, tells me something after I said, "No one said we had to get a credit card, they just said we needed to attend a 120 minute thing." He says, with a demeaning tone, "Thats part of the prequalification process, bud. " I was gonna lose it had I not thought about those tickets. To start out saying you're not gonna twist my arm then lie saying you're not like Westgate... I'll never go to these tourism places again. The people at the desks there are waiting for their promotions at these bigger buildings. They are the same kinds of people we all wonder how they sleep with themselves at night. Every time we walked somewhere Sippy made a point to compliment someone just to push people to buy. They're so fake. Just stay away...
