It was better than a high school production, but not as professional as most of the shows in Branson. Retire those old costumes. Don't reuse the same costumes further on in the show. Adding sparkle snowflakes to the finale costumes headresses (the ones we saw earlier) dont fool anyone. The red green and white pinafore dresses are overused. Adagio and its choreography needs more work... crotch positions are never flattering on a dancer... They need to rehearse more, or remove their difficult moves until they are mastered. The track is too hot on most numbers and blaring, and out of mix. Especially on the number "Mary Did You Know?" You need to do a sound check on this number. The voices are good, but please engineer the sound better! It was a garbled mess! Record it and listen to it. It ruined the mood of a beautiful song! The dancers were good and full of energy. The singers were good, not excellent. Everyone should know the words to the songs if they are singing or mouthing the songs! The guy with the black glasses must be a stand-in. He looked lost. Where is your producer and dance captain? Record this show for notes. It could...
Read moreVERY disappointed! Do NOT attend this theater. Got VIP tickets and when we go to our seats in the front row both of them were literally BROKEN!!! Yes BROKEN! I am 170 pounds and sat down softly because the people that were in front of us told us it was broken. If this was an elderly person sitting there I am sure they would have hurt themselves and the people behind them. We were relocated 3 rows behind our first paid for seats. We were offered a soft drink.. really.. we just left them there. No refund for our VIP seats were offered. I was excited to see this show and this made the show hard to enjoy. Performers were great. But the seat situation was awful. They also did not try to fix the seat while we where there nor put anything on the seats to inform other guests of the situation. I DO not recommend this theater. I will NEVER go back and I WILL be posting this and the video I took of the broken seats all over my social medics accounts! ALSO when I went to talk with a manger a lady at the window said they were not there. BAD business. Again do NOT recommend this King theater....
Read moreI have to tell you, it had been a very long draining week at work and on the spur of the moment I just had to get out and blow off some steam, find someway to start the weekend with a Bang and recharge. I am so, so happy I was able to get a ticket to Kings Castle’s Anthems of Rock! From the moment Jacob played his first riff, I could feel that energy “draining” trend reversing as those heart pounding anthems grew. As Tiffany and Taylor poured their hearts out, the feelings were rising, I seemed to draw energy from Kelvin, Kristen, Riley and the entire dance crew’s acrobatic, mesmerizing choreography. I was having issues as there was too much happening all over the stage, where to focus? The angst of my youth being expelled again I was reborn through Meatloaf, Whitesnake, Kansas & Queen! Jay, Santino and Brian drove me to renewal through Aerosmith, Def Leopard, and every pounding melody that erased all the pressure of the week. This is not a show it is cross generational connection to the songs that built a city and build us. Thank...
