Branson, Missouri is a family vacation destination known for its live shows and entertainment options. Like any vacation hot spot, Branson tries to offer services to satisfy tourist needs and one of those needs is shopping. And a good choice for retail shopping in Branson is Tanger Outlet Mall.

This outlet mall has about 78 stores total. This number is less than that of other shopping centers or other outlet malls. Still, there is enough variety to satisfy and that includes many well- known stores such as Disney, Old Navy, Kay Jewelers, and others. You will find a few more unique stores along the way, like Oakley, Maurices, and others. But most stores are well- known, household names.

Tanger Outlet Mall doesn’t have its own parking garage. The parking consists of a single- level parking area in the middle of the outlet mall, which is shaped like the letter U with two additional rows of stores between the two sides of the U shape. Depending on where you park, it can take time to get back to your vehicle. If your goal is to explore the entire complex, I recommend looking for a parking space toward the middle section. That way, it won’t take long to get back to your car.

This outlet mall is a single story in design, so that makes it easy to walk from store to store and experience each to the fullest. My wife and I frequent every weekend or every other weekend because you never know what deals you can find. We personally like Adidas, UA (by the way, we are glad UA is expanding in size as it was pretty small), Fossil, Nike, Express and Discount Ryobi tools store. We do occasionally visit other stores but those are the ones we like best. Anyway location is clean and service is friendly at most places. Best time to visit is right at or right after opening. After that it can become very very crowded especially peak seasons. The bad, No cameras on the lot anymore. If you drive a nice car pick your parking carefully or claim and damage will be on you. We have been hit twice here and nothing came of it. Slight damage first time while we were shopping. Second time we were actually sitting IN my Corvette fixing to leave and someone swiped the rear of my car (assumed they were distracted. They probably thought they hit a parked car) I got out immediately and thought they would a) stop or b) come right back after they saw me get out. NOPE. They kept driving and left the outlet. $1k+ worth of damage that time. Police just took report and nothing came of it. No video to help find them. Of course this could happen anywhere but we are definitely more cautious now and plan our parking as well as come during less crowded times.
