Extremely Unprofessional Service – Would Never Recommend I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. Someone had recommended it to me, so I decided to book a haircut and blow-dry appointment as I needed to get ready for a wedding. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I arrived at the salon on time for my appointment, but no one greeted me or even acknowledged my presence. The staff lacked basic courtesy and confidence, which immediately gave off a bad impression. I patiently waited for 25 minutes without anyone noticing or informing me of a delay. Not once did anyone check in or assure me that I would be served shortly. After 30 minutes of waiting, I finally had to approach the staff to remind them that I had an appointment and explain that I was in a hurry due to the wedding. Only then did they casually inform me that another staff member, who was apparently busy with another client in a separate room, would attend to me. Another 15 minutes passed without any update. When someone finally arrived to cut my hair, it was clear she was unprepared and unprofessional. Without wetting my hair, she started cutting them dry, which led to an uneven and poorly executed haircut. Midway through the process, I was left unattended again as they prioritized clients who had arrived after me. When I raised my concerns, they informed me—very casually—that their main hairstylist was unavailable that day, so they couldn’t provide proper services. By this point, I had wasted so much time that nearby salons were either closed or unwilling to accept walk-ins. I ended up going home and doing my hair myself, which was stressful and inconvenient but my only option. To make matters worse, they didn’t even offer an apology for the chaos and poor service. I have been going here to get my eyebrows done since I moved here from New York. I usually go to the same woman however today she was busy. There was another woman available (never seen her there before)so I decided to go to her. I regretted my decision as soon as she started. She was soo rough and cut me below my eyebrow which I could possibly let pass but she was so INSENSITIVE and RUDE. She said that I needed to hold my brows tighter. I have been having my own eyebrows threaded for over 20 years. I think I know what and what it to do. The final straw was when it seemed as if she were being rougher. Needless to say I walked out. I usually go to a salon in Farmington Hills for my beauty needs, but last week that place was closed! I was in desperate search for an Indian salon with decent reviews that had an availability. Luckily, by the second call, I was able to book an appointment with Neelam Creations, and I have to say that I was so beyond impressed with how Neelam took such good care of me from the get go, though the amount I dropped was more costlier than what I typically pay for. Sometimes, it’s about quality, and she definitively earned every penny for the job well done with my eyebrows and full facial with acne treatment! She took her time to make sure I felt comfortable and relaxed, and I am very pleased with the results.
