I have never had a more incompetent Customer Service problem. I work in Customer Service for a living and I stand by the statement that "the customer is always right".
My mother and I just bought two mattresses from this location on 2/22/2015. The sales rep told us he was having a truck come on that Tuesday and Thursday so we would be all set to come on that Friday to pick up the beds. Myself, my father & my brother-in-law all left work early to come pick up these mattresses. When we arrived we were informed that the pick up date wasn't until 3/3/2015 which is exactly what we were trying to avoid. We made sure to schedule it as a PICK UP so it would come earlier than the first week of March. He told me "I don't recall" about the entire conversation we had when we were buying the mattresses. My mother and I asked him about 10 times, "So Friday, see you Friday, We will be here Friday, what times are you open?" when confirming our order. I repeated the whole conversation to the man and yet he still acted as if he had no idea what we were talking about. Although he had no recollection of this conversation with myself and mother upon buying the mattresses, he did remember that we were able to take our pillows on 2/22/2015. I said he was incompetent and he responded "I am not!" .... Looks like myself, my mother and my father have to sleep on the floor until Tuesday because of his mistake when ordering our mattresses. It would be a different story if he admitted his mistake, but instead he lied about the entire conversation. I have also reported this to headquarters.
It doesn't help that the same day we placed the order, said man had his child in the store. His child was running everywhere, jumping on beds and he was constantly chasing after his child. If he didn't have his child, he might have paid more attention to the ordering process.
Not to mention, this same store ALSO screwed up on my sisters mattress delivery date as well about a month ago.

I must say, Badcock Furniture is the ONLY store that has scored above par, from the time I walked through the doors right up until I signed the papers for my furniture. Maria was my sales associate, and couldn’t do enough for me! She knew every answer to every question I had, without taking a breath! I had a very slight problem with two different prices for the same exact chair. Maria called Joey, the store manager over, and he handled everything to my satisfaction in a matter of minutes. I pretty much was left with my mouth open because I have never bought anything with a transaction as quick and easy as this one. And, I have never had the opportunity to work with such friendly people. They’re usually in a rush for you to make your purchase, or trying to force you to buy additional items you don’t want or need. All I can say is by the end of my purchase, I felt like I had made 2 new friends. I would highly recommend seeing Maria if you’re in the market for furniture or even appliances. Let me also add that I almost never write reviews. If I’m satisfied, then they have done their job, like they were hired to do. But in this case, I just knew I had to share my experience with the public to let everyone know what an outstanding job Maria and Joey did for me. Above and beyond is definitely an understatement. Read moreI will never ever do business with this company again. I moved and bought all my furniture from here mainly because it was affordable. They gave me a 2-year 0% APR financing which I loved because I kept the cash I had for an emergency fund and build my credit in the meantime as I was trying to buy a place in the future. HOWEVER almost everything came dented or broken. Even one of my mirrors were completely shattered. To get these replaced they wanted me to pay extra to get it picked up and delivered even though they agreed that it was a damaged product. One of my furniture pieces had to be replaced THREE times. I've had the worst time with the credit services sending my bills to the wrong address. I don't know how they got my ex-husband's address but somehow they were sending them there instead of my residence. After about a year I ended up moving again and It's been months and I can't get my address updated. Also I learned the hard way that they don't do automatic payments. Even if they tell you they do trust me its not true! My credit score is a testament to that. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE COMPANY! You got what you pay for. In my opinion it's not worth it.
