Images Charleston — Attraction in Charleston

I normally do not do reviews of stores that I have not purchased from. I will make an exception for Images Charleston. The photographs themselves are high definition medium format digital which means the detail, clarity and color are suburb. They are then put onto stainless steel. Whether framed or unframed they all all stunning to look at. The frames themselves are also beautiful. I was taken by the photo of the Angel Oak tree with a frame made from wood from the old Folly Beach pier. Totally different and unique. Just received my first of two orders I bought in charleston. After arriving home was worried that the impulse buy would not be as good as I hoped. Well it's fantastic, looks like it was designed just for my space love it!! Can't wait for my next delivery. The gallery is family run, we initially talked to the brother who was helpful and informative about Charleston. We returned the following day and met the sister who was very knowledgeable about the area and takes a lot of the photos. Very lovely people both of them. Horrible customer service and broken delivery process. It’s been more than 30 days since my purchase and I still don’t have the framed image. If your a traveler out of state, be cautious before making a purchase from this vendor. Free shipping sounds attractive but falls short on the purchase experience. I also bought a portrait from Mary Martin and I received it in three days. I paid for the shipping but it hanging in our bedroom, unlike the framed image I purchased from Images Charleston.
