Basically a nice yet overpriced shop w/friendly staff. However beware - if you buy something, you better like it - no returns. Well, you can return, but you can't get your money back. You can get a store credit or do an even exchange. Bet 90% of the people who shop here don't know that. And, I'd also have to bet 90% of the customers are NOT from SC so your clientele is visiting from out of state. You really should explain the policy BEFORE people make their purchases and clearly explain the "return" policy. And, provide a paper receipt. That's my advice. I doubt I'd shop there again. I’ve made many purchases at Copper Penny between Hilton Head and Greenville, but after my recent experience, I won’t be returning. I visited the Charleston locations (2) around 12:30pm and was completely ignored in each store. At the second location, I stood at the counter while two employees continued chatting and made no effort to acknowledge me or my son. It was clear they had no interest in helping us.

I can’t help but wonder if their behavior was based on assumptions about how I look. I’m a well-educated professional, and it was disappointing to be treated as if I didn’t belong. It felt unprofessional, dismissive, and frankly, discriminatory. They made it very clear they didn’t want...

The girls are so incredibly sweet and helpful. They helped me make the decisions about a pretty dress with roses . I was so excited that I left a painting I bought in the fitting room and then I had to take an early flight to NY the second day. When I called, they immediately offered to mail it to me and I got it in 2 days! Many thanks to the girls. Will definitely go back to see them if I visit...
